The FIFA World Cup starts today so I'm not going to be surprised if there are interruptions in the feed today - don't know how many folks are going to log in to watch/follow online.  The first year we had the webcam, we blew everything out of the water and took down the CBC servers in Toronto a couple of times because of the volume of the interest in the peregrines.  CBC solved it by moving us to their biggest server.  Given that soccer is more popular than peregrines (hard to believe I know  ;)), we may see some disruptions until the first rush is over.

I will chat with CBC today to get an update for the weekend ...

Every day at work I click on the CBC web site, click on the play button, get the ad and then nothing but a black screen.  :'(   Today I did the same thing.  No ad today. Black screen for awhile and the that little streaming line started to move and there was the nest box.  :)
All the chicks are against the wall sleeping right now but that is okay.  I got to see them at work.  sooo nice.  :)

Chow time again....It does appear to be Ivy that is doing the feeding.

I logged in just in time to see a feeding!  My guess is that it was Ivy, as all the chicks appeared to be his size.  Three of the chicks had backed him into a corner and were greedily eating breakfast while the other was trying to feed himself.  I was so proud of the one little guys independence until he started to spit it back up (it looked like he was trying to swallow a leg, or maybe a flying downtown snake  ;D ).
I also got to see my first live face-plant.  Their so cute and they've grown so big!
Anyways, everyone has formed a post-breakfast huddle so I'm going to get my own breakfast!

:) What a beautiful way to start my day. A lovely silhouette on the ledge. I think it is the matriarch of our Radisson Royal Family. I think of a song title of Stevie Wonder's, "Isn't She Lovely"?  :)

Love the image on the live feed.  You can faintly see the chick pile and the silouette of a parent.  Looks so peaceful.

Dennis what kind of camera do you have? You take such awesome pictures.
I have two cameras !
Main one I use is a Canon 40D with a 100-400 IS L lens . Don't know if that helps but if you need or want more info contact me by email !

Cheers !

Worked all evening - couldn't see the chicks :( :'( :'(

Thanks for the great photos!  They have grown!!  Now (almost 10:30 in the p.m.) I only see, faintly, a giant chickpile and a parent standing guard.

(A snake?!? ??? ???)

So someone posted on the cam site that Princess brought a snake for the babies.  I missed the feeding, but I find this hard to believe.  :-\ Was it really a snake or could it have been a "squirrel" like last time?  ???
LOL, KDR! ;D I saw that post on the CBC website too! ::)
