Radisson - 2010 / Ivy & Princess

Food delivery from Ivy - Princess landed right after he did, grabbed the meal and began to feed the very hungry kids. She was yapping to him as she started to feed the chicks but he left pretty quickly. . . . .  "what do you mean you didn't bring the desert, go back and get it, it's supposed to be included, do I have to do everything,"

hahaha, one just went for a waddle to the front of the nest box, felt the rain, looked very perplexed and promptly made a bee-line for the back and shelter.

It's raining downtown .....   again   but the chicks are high and dry and huddled together in their usual spot in the nest box.

Today I saw somebody around noon -- probably IVY - above the Radisson - just HANGING THERE!! - Like a helium balloon , not gliding, not moving - it was really cool!!!!   - THEN he STREAKED downward and made a beeline for something on the other side of Portage - I lost him behind another building but I assume some sort of 'Snack' was over there - WOW it was really something to see - first the STATUE in the air, then the TURBO-JET DIVE BOMBER -

Chickpile wiggling about from time to time, so not frozen here.

Can't see any feathers ruffling in the breeze so maybe the camera is frozen and the chicks aren't sleeping after all.

Every time I log on our chicks are comatose   Missed all the feedings .........even the shot at the camera......oh well there always will be more of those Raining a bit now- had to suspend my outside chores..........but can see the "chicks" instead. Yippee

I thought I saw someone peeping over the edge but then thought I was losing it.....Friday and all you know how it is. One of the parents was flying around and landed on the short ariel. Now both of them are on the short ariel....I have never seen that before!!!! Talk about togetherness! WoW

It's the weekend, I'm at home and I can see the birdies again........   oh yea

Yes, they are looking interested, but they appear to be "frozen" now, along with my webcam view!

"Poop!" (pardon the pun  )We missed that! The Kinderchicklets would have LOVED to see that!!!

Thank goodness the aim was not at us.  Imagine getting all fixed with the CBC feed only to be blocked by a "poop wall"

LOL, bcbird, now that would certainly be an irony!

The FIFA World Cup starts today so I'm not going to be surprised if there are interruptions in the feed today...Given that soccer is more popular than peregrines (hard to believe I know  ), we may see some disruptions until the first rush is over.

Hard to believe that soccer might take precedence over our beloved Peregrine Falcons!
