Radisson - 2009 / Trey & Princess

Air quality check. I walked out and my timing was awesome. Met up with des and we had a treat. One boy and our girl on City Place roof. Along comes an adult, I think it was Trey, swoops by junior, junior takes flight and we have a good old game of follow the leader going on. Trey put jr. through his paces, circles, up and down, little bit of swooping and they ended up on the Radissonroof. 2 minutes of nature at its finest.

Glad to see that the 3 are flying and chasing adults.An important part of training.

We will see them less and less at the ledge now But as long as they are flying high

.         Good Morning!!  Great pics dennis   Glad to see the kids made it through the storm.  The merlins nesting here are now scattered between three spruce trees,I don't know if it was planned,I know they were exercising but that storm may have shook them up a bit.

I keep looking for baby sis all day yesterday......didn't see her and I thought the one on the East was her but according tot he logs not her......She probably was covered to keep out of the rain and the wind. Boy did it pour! So are far as TPC is concerned she is still oin the west nest and the boys are coming and going on the East??

Thanks for all the updates this morning.  Sounds like Vesper's getting the hang of this flying thing now.  The boys really are.  I'd love to see them together in the air.  It would be amazing.

Des just called. One of the parents did a fly by with food in its talons, followed by the boys. Our girl joined in briefly, she made it as far as the post office ( 2 blocks east of City Place ).
Newest update, boys on City Place, girl on the post office and the parents flying and circling.

Des just called. Vesper has left the Radisson and is now on the top of City Place ( the old Eaton Place.)  For y'all who don't know Winnipeg, that is one block south and one block west of the Radisson.

Thanks for this bccs.  I missed a couple of days and find it very hard to read 16 pages of stuff, so I pretty much read the first and last pages when I get home.
Awesome that everyone is out and about safely.  I am very happy that all is going well and there are so many spotters to keep us informed.

Should have mentioned that as long as Vesper is on the south side, watching will be there in either of the two parking lots on Smith St, south of the Radisson and St. Regis hotels. If you don't find any one there, Portage Avenue in front of the Birks building ( 276 Portage) will be the place to watch.

Morning guys. It's a grand old day and I'm happy to report that all 5 were spotted this morning. Des beat me here today and she told me that she'd seen some playing in the sky by our kids. Then along comes Tupper, he does a lovely circle and then flys over to the Radisson. Yup he was trying to walk on the wall again. This is so funny to see guys.
Away he flys to the top of the Kensington bldg, where he has a little preen.
Des and I walk down to the south side of the Radisson and there's our girl in the same place as last night. Yelling up a storm- what else is new from her.
Then we see the two boys playing in the sky, kind of chasing each other and then Trey appears and joins in with the boys. Her majesty is on the o of the Radisson sign, not in the least bit interested in any of the goings on.
Des just called and said the there is some wonderfuly flying going on right now by the boys.
It's clear, cool and windy right now.
So all's well here. Enjoy your day everybody
