Whew, another big read for today through several different threads.  You people really got up to lots of excitement (and trouble with the shovel) today.  Thank you very much for all the reports and pictures!

And, Allikat I loved your thought bubbles while talking to Tracy!

It was even funnier to hear her describe it after the fact bc bird

I'm sure it was still words like blah blah blah blah....Tracy on phone, blah with me...blah blah!  Oh right, What are they called, birds blah..blah..peregrines, right that's what I'm looking at.  Blah!  THE peregrine chick is talking with me......that part was in my head so pretty much more...blah blah blah coming out of my mouth!
Oh....it was a moment ladies.

I'm in complete agreement (and I like the term 'thought bubbles' bcbird, good thinking!) and found your commentary, Allikat, very entertaining!!  Thanks for all the other reviews, too, bccs et al., as they all add up to a great update/vicarious experience, so to speak.  ....we need our own recovery project falcon breeding pair here in downtown Victoria, BC! Maybe somebody could put a little word in Vesper's 'ear' - maybe Ty (LC) would like to join her!?

Sounds like you all had a great time.  I'm jealous Wish I could have gone.  Thought that maybe I could swing it tomorrow night and remembered we have Bomber tickets.  I'm really going to try to get down there tomorrow morning.  Same spot across from MTS centre??

I don't know why I am still watching the cam. All I can see is the outline of the nest ledge and the shadow of one chick at the north corner. If any of them are down in the nest area I'd never know! I just keep hoping I'll see the shadow of another one returning. Be safe wherever you are, little ones!
