For the photo, you are welcome.  It was a busy weekend but I did manage to snag a bunch of other photos and some video despite the now and rain.  Will post them this week.

For those of you concerned about Princess and Ivy and Les Eggs, the box is totally clear of snow and dry as a bone.  At present Princess is butt in the box and sound asleep - much like her snowy photo down below, minus the snow.  Can't see any wind in the box at the moment, so perhaps when the sun comes around into the box, she'll be able to take a break off the eggs and bake in the sun a bit.

The snow is already melting in the nestbox, should be gone entirely once the sun comes around to the west side of the hotel.  At the moment, Princess is sound asleep with her head inside the nestbox.  She looks quiet content.

Do you know if the family are OK after the terrible weekend? All eggs accounted for?  I worried about them yesterday.....It was just terrible weather!

Very glad for the nestbox to keep our dedicated Princess a bit more sheltered from the elements.

I guess we can always remember the time that Princess and Trey nested on the east side and were snowed on, 3 years ago I think. She looked soooo cold down there. This situation doesn't seem as bad in comparison. I'm glad she's tucked in to her shelter.

Checked all the video and all the eggs are fine and still there.  Princess is back on the eggs and has her head planted inside the box and it looks like she is fully sheltered from the wind.  The box has snow but that won't last long tomorrow when the high is forecasted to be +12C.  For comparison, the high today was -2C not including the wind chill.

Princess has kept her eggs save through close to a week of snow and ice storms in the past on the nestledge.  She looked pathetic this morning as Dennis mentionned but the snow was blown in and isn't deep.  Will get a photo for y'all this evening.

TThere is some snow in the nest box but I don't think I have to get the mini snow blower or shovel out as the gravel can still be seen. .
