Hi again everyone,

So sorry - I did not mean to be insensitive to those of you who can no longer watch live streams while at work - just read that thread after my last post.  Geez, I know I would miss watching, so tell 'ya what I'm going to do.

I am able to watch anything I want so I promice to watch as often as I can and post updates here on the blog for those of you who still have daytime access to it.  Hopefully this will help fill the void. . . .

Hi Everyone,

I'm back again after a semi-longish absense.  All is (fairly) well with family so I'm back at work again.  Catching up on reading posts I noticed that the CBC cam is due to go live tomorrow.  As much as I enjoy everyone's posts about this nest. . . . . .I still 'gotta say. . . . . . . .

Oh boy, Oh boy, Oh boy!!!!
Yabba Dabba Dooooooo
CBC Cam goes live tomorrow!!!!!!!
I CAN'T WAIT.......................................Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Ivy's turn to be comatose in the nestbox.  No rain, no wind, nothing to do but wait for the eggs to bake, I'd be asleep too if I were him.  Little does he know that by tomorrow, he will have thousands of eyes watching every breath he makes ...  :o

All quiet and snoozy in the nestbox so far this morning, Princess has her head tucked down right into the gravel and her eyes are closed.  There's not much wind and none of her feathers are being disturbed and she's well tucked inside away from any rain will be getting today.

Just taking a break Des, there was someone in the box all day though there was a bit of in and out and more than a little housecleaning.  Mid-incubation boredom is definitely settling in!

Just before noon spotted somebirdy on the M on the east side of the hydro building enjoying the sun and the view back into the nest, monitoring the area - or just taking a break?

Ivy is on the eggs right now, guess Princess is off getting some Mother's Day brunch after the night shift.  The box is a bit damp from the rain we've had and the sky is overcast which is in direct contrast to the scene in Brandon right now.

I can hardly wait to hear the dulcet tones of our Princess!

dulcet tones .... Princess ... hmmmm
Ah, c'mon TPC, to finally hear Princess at full throttle will be very thrilling for those of us far away.

Full throttle is much more accurate than dulcet tones in my experience with females  ;D
Oh, and I know y'all will love hearing them ... just be sure to have your fingers on the volume when you watch the cam for the first time ... :o
In case we're overwhelmed by the dulceticity?
