Radisson - 2008 / Trey & Princess

I can relate!! - when I drive by the Radisson, I'm straining & twisting & bending my head upside down, trying to catch a glimpse of P&T - problem is, I AM driving!!!  - Never have seen them yet though. Not live anyway.

Sunshine and blue sky here in Mississauga, and 25 for the high, with more manageable humidity for the first day in a week... Mother Nature found out about Midol, and has cured her PMS.

The first thing when I hit downtown in the morning is look up! Good thing I am not the one driving LOL !! Love seeing the falcons and when they fly up up they go with such grace. I only thing I have not witnessed is getting their meals but then again I am not a bird so that might be a hard thing to see.Good thing I might have become dinner!  Later folks.

Morning all - Just want to thank Mother Hen for her updates on P&T! -  The more sightings she reports, the better I feel about hoping for another try this year...Princess has been around the nestbox (penthouse) every day, Trey is right there, on the roof, on the aerials - this resiliant couple just may give us what we're holding our breath for!! - They deserve a successful summer, fingers crossed!! - Keep those binocs handy Mother Hen! - Have a nice (rainy  ) day all!!!

Both of them are there today. Trey on the tower/ariel and Princess on the nest looking out. I do have such a good view from my window......Wish you could all join me.

I don't remember that, but I hope you're right!  I thought Tracy said two weeks.  Three days seems kinda fast to me...  Hope I'm wrong! 

Poor Tracy, having to respond to all the new postings since she was last on!  (T -- just do a synopsis (sp?) ) and throw it all into one post!)

lol Enraptured and Eagle 63 -- Yeah, one has to remember WHY you're being paid to sit where you do, even tho the view is amazing!  I have to try to watch on my own time.  It's tough!

(moving day for me, too, Liz as I posted in yesterday's as well -- sorry to those who may read this twice!)

You know, I don't think I could live in Winnipeg! I'd always be staring out the window or tempted to wander the streets around the Radisson!  I keep wishing I, too, could see them in person, but really....it would be even more 'dangerous' than the forum in terms of time management!   

Also -- I thought I read somewhere else in the site that another pair had renested somewhere and there was only 3 days in between mating and egg laying....or am I imagining that?!

We have a pair of Osprey's nesting on a light fixture in a baseball field here in the city where I live. Thank goodness I can't afford a bus pass or I'd be over there all the time lol
