ITS POETS day today.....bet you don't know what that means?? I never did mention last Friday in any of my comments. I am a very emotional Mother Hen.........Hard to believe one week ago today! I could not watch the news nor read about the resue. I cried for two solid days.I felt so incredibly sad and still do. BUT I have alot of hope that they will be parents again this year and all goes well if they do. IF not this year  there is next year as Tracy said....Maybe yes maybe no!   any ways I also was watching them with the spy glasses when Madame was the mother and Trey the father.
Tracy thanks for your explaination.  This is still so cool to be able to watch this right in the Wild city we all call home.I am truly lucky to be sitting beside a window that looks on to the Radisson.
Tracy next question is Does Trey sit on the ledge if there are no babies or just Princess??  Princess sits with lovely white chest out for the world to see but one of them sits looking in and I can't tell
who that is! Help
POETS day is Piss on everthing tomarrow is Saturday!!!!   Later Watchers and yes Princess is here. I have not seen Trey this morning.

lmao Loriann, only reason I am doing is because my superintendent kicked my in gear because the fire inspector was coming today. And yesterday my smoke detectors got installed. She can't stand clutter and I am a pack rat, so what does that tell you!

Goooooooooooooooooooooooodddddddddd Morning Canada (best Robin Williams imitation from Good Morning Vietnam) :)    It's a Friday the 13th, hmmmmm not my favorite day, yes I am superstitious.  It's a beautiful sunny day here, humid though.  Catching up on my reading before I start in on my continued housecleaning, I ain't stopping til my apartment is cleaned from one end to the other.

sure is sad.  Thankfully we have had each other here in this forum to help get us through and start healing.  Sure is nice to be able to log on and still have lots of comments to read. I certainly am still learning lots of things about peregrines because of this forum and reading all the great questions and TPC's answers.

Well I will start a new thread I guess.  Seems ironic that today is Friday the 13th.  Should have been last Friday.  I expect we will continue to call last Friday, Black Friday however.  Hope to hear more news today about Princess and Trey sightings! Motherhen? Pam? Hope all is well with everyone today.   :)

Well I googled it and couldn't find any site with the pronunciation. I did see that an 'aka' is Trgiaoh - so it may sound something like Ter-jee-oh... ??? - sounds good to me!  ;D

Sounds good to me too...and I'm gonna go with that!!!!   :)

Correct !... Ter-gee-oooh.  Lol... its a weird one.

Quote from: The Peregrine Chick

Naming the Chicks - keep in mind that even in the photos, you all will never be able to tell one from another at the age and stage we lost them at.  Can't even be sure of their gender based on size at this age.  Naming them will be an abstract concept ... or you could choose something like "the Lost Chicks" and refer to them as a cohort rather than be unable to identify them individually by name.

Even if we cannot attatch a specific name to a specific chick, i think they still need individual names. If we pick three names, and refer to the chicks as such, it still gives them identity, even if its not gender or individual specific.  Up to you Tracy, but 'the lost chicks' is just depressing. (sigh)..

LOL.  Assuming I'm reading you right, Eye-spy, this is one post I won't agree with you on!   ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for the mass-answer Tracy... way easier!  And I guess when I said "wild" I meant "natural habitat".
