Yes that ledge has lots of other uses for them - so they can court, eat, nap, play, suntan & party at that ledge all they want - just as long as they don't nest there....!!   ;D ;D

ha ha,, thats my thinking too!  thanks all for clearing that up. :)

Thanks for explaining ballywing.  Sorry I wasn't more clear deedream, yes I was referring to the east side nest ledge, where they just finished nesting.

Tracy has mentioned that the nest ledge is used for other reasons than nesting, like courting!

Deedreem I'm pretty sure the 'Nest-Ledge' is the place they just finished nesting on the East side at the 13th floor. And the 'Nest-Box' is on the West side, at the 30th floor. So I think it's better for them to be hanging around at the Nest Box, not at the Nest Ledge! -we don't want any repeats of eggs and chicks on that ledge.  :o :o ............(Of course that is IF they re-nest.. ;D)

I really like "The Lost Chicks" aka TLC as the referral to the chicks.  It is so fitting.  Just like others said...when you think about it...they were so small and young...we wouldn't  know who was who.  TLC is really nice.

Part of me hopes P & T have more chicks this year and yet part of me doesn't.  I just get so attached and then I worry.  My kids even tell me I worry too much and they keep telling me to chill.  I know...I need more positive thinking.

I would be nice to see the little white balls of fluff grow into gorgeous Falcons tho.  I did love watching them last year.  So I guess I am more hoping yes.

I like TLC as well.

Just wanted to report my sighting on the way home.  I was stopped at a light on Portage, staring right at the nest ledge thinking about last weeks events.  I was in the middle imagining how the rappel must have looked from the street when all of the sudden someone flew out of the nest ledge and up up up in the direction of the new Hydro building.  I'm guessing it was Princess or Trey, can't be certain though. Would they even let other birds into the area of the nest ledge?

yes all this talk of sightings is awesome, but I want to be sure I know where they are being seen.  Is it in the nest box way up on the 30 floor or are you talking about where they just finished nesting on the 13th.. Finding it confusing, nest ledge?  I hope its the nest box,, but am starting to think its the same place as before, as thats on the east side, and isn't the penthouse box on the west side??

OH - TLC! - Love it - what a great idea.  ;D - and I'm really glad Trey & Princess are talking to each other, but if they're on the East 'nest-ledge' side of the building I hope they're saying...." Dear, let's agree to not nest here again, let's go over to the West Side Penthouse Nestbox instead, K Dear???"  ;D

Tracy
Thanks for that valuable information..... I alway thought that she was the one looking out but it is Trey.........she must be the one that faces inward. I can tell the difference but not always. To all the fathers in the group have a Great Fathers day! Talk to you on monday.
