He's still there, though he's jumped up to a slightly higher tower.  Sheila is convinced that she saw Princess go into the nestbox - did you see that, Mother Hen??

They seem to be, though I couldn't give you times that are best for viewing them I'm afraid.  I'll be checking the nest box shortly and if they are re-nesting, you will pretty much be able to see the non-incubating adult around for much of the day for the next month.

T & P will not move now and renest (if they do)somwhere else would they?? Tell me NOOOOOOOOOOO!!
I will keep an eye out and let you if spotted.

At this point, either they will nest again or they won't.  Which ever they do, they won't give up the Radisson territory.  As for not seeing them today, could be that they are just about to lay eggs (they tend to get quiet or disappear right before laying - did it in April right before the first egg) or they are just going further afield to hunt today, perhaps because of the weather.

Nice picture of the baby.....you are very lucky to have this job.

Wish that I got to work full-time with the birds  :D.  I do a bit of contract work besides my full-time job, the peregrines is one (pretty much all volunteer) and this year doing some work with Loggerhead Shrikes which might cover my expenses, might not.

I fell for the same old thing people warned about driving through downtown.  My head was cranked way too far up, trying to spot the pair.

I haven't had time to read the other posts.  I think I saw the nesting box on the way back, and maybe one of the birds sitting on top.  I pulled over to take a picture, but I leave my car unlocked sometimes, and the backup camera was missing.  (I was hoping the 3x zoom would give me enough detail to know if the brown blob was a falcon or a camera.)

Next Sunday I hope to remember to take my best long lens camera, and take a picture or two.  If they turn out, I will post them on Flickr and put a link in here.  Meanwhile, are the birds still in the area?

Wednesday morning and not a peregrine in site......I am starting the withdrawal syptoms. I feel quite sad that I have not seen them yesterday and so far today. Got caught in traffic and looked all the way home with no luck. Are they living somewhere else??

btw, if any of you are ever standing/sitting around the hotel, staring upwards, and a middle-aged brunette asks you what your screen name is, it's probably me asking!  lol   ;) ;D

I was waiting for the bus right across from the Radisson at 6:30pm - got a full 5 minutes of neck-craning in.....but saw nothing except a few seagulls.  :-\ - I hope P&T haven't flown the coop!!! - nah, too soon to be paranoid.  ;D

LOL -- maybe they did!  It's the first day we've had that feels like summer might actually come!  I sat on Donald today for about 20 minutes, neck craned, peering up at the roof.  Not a bird in sight.  Or at least, not a big one.  I saw something flying way up high overtop, so high I kept losing it, and every once in awhile there'd be a white flash (breast feathers in the sun, I assume).  Then I saw a second one and got really excited -- Oh, they're both up there!!!  And then they came closer and I could see white underneath-wings with black tips, and had to concede they were probably seagulls.  sigh.  Another day of no sightings.  I wish Princess would perch on the J for a bit!  She seems to like it better in the afternoon when the warm sun is shining on it, but I haven't seen her there in a couple of weeks.  Of course, there's been no sun...   :P
