Wow 3 eggs!!!  P&T you decided where you would nest this year and as Tracy said maybe you want to finish something on the nestledge.  Here's hoping for a great season for you both.

Thank you so much bccs.  Not only did I finally find it but you taught me something.  What alot of trouble I have gone to at times looking for stuff.  (embarrassing actually)

Now we will be worrying about those babies on the east.
I was thinking the same thing Mother Hen...was hoping to have a more 'worry free' summer this year - but I guess that's all part of this nature watching experience. P&T must thrive on a challenge!  8)........(Better keep me out of the area though, I'd be way too tempted to do some 'midnight moving' of those precious eggs!)  :P

Well.....isn't this all a surprise!  3 eggs.  Tracy, you sure are a sneaky one.  All the best to you as you proceed with "all things" Princess & Trey.

Can someone explain to me how to get back to the thread of yesterday about Earth Day (or as Tracy put it...Earth Week).  Can't find it anywhere, beginning to think I'm useless. :-\

How about a chick gate  :) :)(like the baby gates) Just kidding of course.

Here is to a great season.  Nothing but optimism. :) :) :)

I am going to try and make a trip out there.  Maybe more towards f ledge, not sure. I want it to be T-shirt weather.

I agree!  TPC is prepared this year and has a back-up plan in motion already so it will definitely be a great year!!

Oh well, I tried with the campaign!  There is always nest year!

Congratulations Princess and Trey on 3 eggs  ;D!  I sense that it will be a great year!

Hey TPC, any thoughts on putting a roof on it...kinda like what Alberta's nest is like or even Ohio's?

Anyway...I'm still very excited that we have eggs.  We finally have eggs!  Woot Woot!
Come on camera...can't you countdown any faster??  :D

Great news about the eggs and the nest ledge is a fantastic idea.
Any chance that when it is installed we could be notified and watch from the street?

Now we will be worrying about those babies on the east. should have guessed when I didnt see them very often at all on the West side. I'm hoping for a nice mild, warm summer after that bitter winter we had. Here's hoping all goes well.

Gees I miss everything going to bed so early.  Congratulations on the eggs!  As you always say, they will nest where they will nest!  Good plan that you have though, I think a nest box there is a great idea!

So happy about the eggs but disappointed about the location they chose.  Like you said Tracy...Maybe they want to finish what they started last year.  Unfortunately it is their choice not ours.  We all just have to hope for a good year weatherwise.  They are great parents as we have seen in the past.  Still I am very happy about the eggs.  :D

The plan is to locate the nest tray in the middle of the ledge right against the wall - so if you can visualize the ledge, just below the vent against the Hotel wall on the left-hand side of the image.  The tray will be about 2 feet away from their current location.  Since it will be raised, I want it as far away from the edges of the ledge as possible.

I am so shocked at 3 eggs already. and here we are wondering when their firstwas to be laid.

I read your e-mail as I was turning into bed.

I know you have it all figured out Tracy, but the will the tray be where the eggs are hatched or will you move it a bit. You said A different nest location

I have been watching Marines and I remember when they had to change the tray becasue they did not have enough gravel etc. They did their while eggs were still being brooded but I realize that may spook Trey and Princess. good  for you TRacy.

Congratulations Trey and Princess and everyone in Winnipeg.
