Morning folks. It's been quiet on the ledge for the last hour or so. Initially it was dark and I could barely discern a whitish lump against the wall. Since the light has improved the chicks have been up stretching lazily, doing a bit of preening, and looking around in a somewhat docile manner.
Trey just arrived - sans food - and one of the chicks ran right to him. Trey checked him out, hopped along the ledge and has gone to stand at the northern most part of the ledge. Running chick (one of the brothers) seems content to sit in the corner and wait.
We're near drowning for all the rain here in NS, with no signs of it letting up for another week. Hopefully it will be lovely on the ledge today.
It's been fun watching the babes flap and flutter about. Very reminiscent of the three that made it to fledge from the western penthouse two years ago. I remember all the wing flapping and hopping and posters' hearts leaping in the process. Wait till they start standing on the nest ledge and flapping...our fingers will cramp with typing anxiety. Cheers.
