Be still my heart........Tracy you better get Smith and Portage closed to all traffic and get the nets ready.

Still have a week, ten days before they should be baked enough for fledging ....

All is calm. Trey (?) is alone in the north corner, preening and occasionally picking at the gravel. The chicks are nearly invisible, tucked in under the ledge shade.

This is great -- Trey is sitting on the corner and chick is trying to snatch food out of his mouth! The other two are moving forward, wondering if it's mealtime.

I just tuned in for the day, where is the third one?  I've got my nose pressed up against my screen and I can only see two wandering around.  Or is the third one camouflaged in with the poop art?

The chick by the drain cover can't quite settle into a nap -- keeps popping up his head and having a look around. But the way they're all growing so quickly, there probably isn't quite as much space between the drain cover and the wall as there was even last week.

Wow Dennis!!! 8)  Your close ups of the banding are great.  A little squaking from the chick but he certainly doesn't look stressed (nor was he nipping at Tracy's fingers).  More like "What's going on ma?" ???

Right now, two are crowding the south corner (not asleep, just kind of poking around) while the third is hanging back a little further along the ledge. But there's plenty of shade for all right now.

Their respective places are all together at 6 o'clock in the shade.  One chick had the corner all to himself/herself and the other two, after preening and exercizing their wings decide that they wanted in as well.  When a few nudges to move over didn't work, one of them jumped on our sleeping chick's back in order to get him to move over.  Ah isn't sibling love grand....all have settled down for a nap.  Have a good day.  :D

Trey took off and was back a moment later with breakfast. Either he grabbed something out of stash or Princess brought it to him. Uncertain as I haven't seen her this morning.

One of the brothers ripped it out of Trey's beak and Trey was content to let the little guy pull and tear for a minute before taking it back and starting to dole. Sister hung back against the wall while the boys and Trey were engrossed, then slowly trundled across the ledge, stuck her head in by Trey and then beat it back to the wall with a huge chunk o' birdie. Trey's now left and the kids have decided that there's nothing left to scavenge and split off to their respective places on the ledge.
