Was busy going through Swainson Hawk photos...and have just loaded some more photos from Banding Day.

Possible to be an immature Bald Eagle. They don't get the white heads till 3-4 years.
They have been seen around Bishop and the river.

It could very well be an Eagle pmg...they are around!  I've seen them on the north east side of the city flying up from an open field.  They usually soar high up with the wind and head south with it....Aparently, a few people I know have seen some by the University of Manitoba as well.

I don't even live there but I would venture a guess of either a red-tailed hawk, Swainson's Hawk or a bald eagle?

It was bigger than the peregrin falcons so probably not a sparrow hawk. Aren't they roughly the same size as merlins?

I was hoping Dennis would have a photo, to help me learn what it might have been.
