I've been teaching Rose how to take a screen capture, she sent this one this morning of Brooklyn napping.  I'll give her 100%.  ;D

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!! Next we'll do the photo bucket thing but TPC I promise to not post too many photos ;D

Hope when the box is renovated the camera angles will stay the same. The way they are now makes it so easy to see the the birds in the box,This morning the view into the box is perfect, the camera seems to be cured.Sun has just come into the box, can't tell who is on the eggs I can only see top of the head and back but he/she is sleeping. At this time no wind, temperature is 7c with a mix of sun and clouds. Thunderstorms predicted for later today.

Will you be replacing the existing one or just renovating it?

The box has pebbles, some grit and yes, the remains of previous meals, mostly dried bones and bits of feathers.  Not stinky because its quite dried out, but messy.

Just as the building is currently being renovated, we will be renovating the nestbox after the nesting season as well.

LOL! Thanks, Rose. :) Must be awfully stinky up there, although probably not for the birds. ;)

What is in the bottom of the Brandon nestbox? ??? Doesn't look like small pebbles, like in the Raddison nestbox, looks like straw.
Them's old bones and gravel and who knows what else ::) maybe eye-spy knows he was up there last

She is such a darling, she's gotten her eggs all shuffled to her satisfaction underneath her protection.

He is a handsome fellow, I'm glad he appreciates the qualities of our petite Hurricane.
