OMG, Dennis that is an unbelievable picture! :o I especially like the way TPC seems to be saying "There, there" while the little miss is threatening to peck her eyes out! :D

Thanks for the great pictures Willmax and Pam. I was especially glad to see the one of Princess on the tower. From our angle des and I could never decide if we were seeing a bird or a bunch of wires. Odd, eh?
BTW, thanks for mentioning my long stay, Pam, but also thanks to des who stayed with me until noon or so after she had been there since 5am! Thanks so much des. Like allikat said, it is so much better with more than one! :D

If any one is in the downtown area, a drop in vist to the ground crew would be greatly appreciated. Gets a little lonely at times, and a little stressful if there is only one watcher. The kids are all over the place now and ya can't look in all places at once. The focus is on our girl, but it's nice to know where the boys are too.
FYI, the watchers spots are right in front of the MTS Centre, or on the north side of Portage, directly across from the MTS Centre. Mid block for both.

Sorry that I missed everyone when I was down this afternoon.  I looked around but could not see anyone.  I had my little dog with me.  If I am around tomorrow I will try to find you all.  Now that I know where you hang out, any other clues other then the looking up.

Thansk again for al the updates.

Well, we weren't wearing our shirts, but quite a few folks stopped by to see what we were up to.  Ask bccs for more details on that one.......

Thanks, TPC.  I guess I just got there at the wrong time.  Yesterday I went from 10:30 - 11 as well as after work, so I knew there were people around in the day; but I didn't go today.  It sounds from the July 8 board that allikat will have some company tonight -- that's good. :D
Sorry we missed you Liz!!  I usually don't get there until about 7pm.  I'll try to get there a little earlier tomorrow, but I'll be there.  If it's raining, I'll be in the lobby, if it's pouring, I don't think there will be much action at all.  I'll be checking the forum tomorrow as well as my messages to see what's up....Ciao  :D

Just a tip for bird watchers who have to wear glasses.
Unscrew the 2 eyepiece covers. It gets the eye closer to the
binoc lens and gives a much greater field of view.

I have done it with all my binocs and did not scratch either lenses.

I'll be wearing my shirt tomorrow when I'm there during the day. The real give-away is everyone looking up with the binocs!  ;D

And Princess (I think, Tracy may correct me) on the tower atop the Radisson, watching the action (which she did for a long time today):

Oh what a great night!!!!
It was so wonderful to me with a group of people....thank you to everyone who came out.  It was just wonderful to get to the "hot watch spot" and see other watchers.  I was so excited!!!!  It's just so different to be watching with a group of great people!!!  I had a BLAST ladies....thank you so much for coming out and keeping me company....I was truly touched!  Thanks to Elaine, Linderlou, Pam, Saoirse, bccs (B!), and of course my mother Barb ( I don't think I left anyone out - I'm so sorry if I did)....it was just awesome to be with a group!  Loved it!!!!!

B...you left a little too early.  We got to see the boys fly around quite a bit, Mom and Dad coming and going, a food drop for Little Miss (Vesper) and some more flying!  By far the most action I've seen yet, I know, I know, nothing compared to Miss' fledge the other day and B getting to see two falcons in one day.....lucky woman with  the LOW voice.   :P
But again gang.....thank you so much for being out there tonight, it was a great pleasure to meet ya'll and I hope I'll see all of you again during fledge watch, I truly had a BLAST!!!! I'll be there tommorrow evening, rain or shine!  PM me if someone's going so we can meet.....
Ciao for tonight!!!
*A big hug from me to you Tracy *
