Sounds like you are not wearing your Trey t-shirts for ID?

Boy, you sure can tell if there has been some excitement - or not - by the number of pages of posts. Only 6 so far today? What are ya'  - slackers? :D
I am just home from downtown (after a quick stop at the Sal's for sustenance!) and am happy to report that, as of 5:30 our wee :D miss was taking it very easy and staying on the nest box and that ledge. She was fed around 10 am and rested for most of the rest of the day. Only a couple of wingercize sessions - just enough to put my heart in my throat, especially when I was alone - but she wasn't really putting any energy in it. The rest of the time she just did that low scurry (the one that makes them look like a mouse when your watching from way below) from one end of the ledge to the other so that she could change napping positions.
At one point this afternoon - around 3:30 maybe - there was some terrific brown smoke or something at Portage and Memorial behind me and everyone - including our wee miss - was looking in the direction but I didn't flinch, gang. I kept my eye on the bird! ;D (Only time all day that I really felt that I looked weird!!!)
Both parents have been on the ledge with her. Both at once at one point and the boys seem to know where she is and have been on that side of the building but I never saw either of them land on that ledge.
I am staying home tomorrow to let my sunburn settle down a bit. We were in shade most of the day but sun when I first got there at 9:30 and those of you who have met me can attest to my burnability! Hope someone is there to see her go. Tell us all about it!

So you all know - Debc52 was out there all day!  Every time I looked out my window, there she was!  Thanks, Deb!
BTW I have not yet read *all* the posts but I understand you have been thanking us and I just want to say "Your welcome - it's been a great experience!"

Is no one o watch today?  I went over after work, and didn't see anyone.  I watched Sis flap away on the box, and strolling up and down the ledge.  Someone was flying around and landed on a hotel room window twice and the comm tower at the top (finally, I see someone there!) -- guessing that was Trey, because of the two locations, but just a guess.  After half an hour, I left her flappercising in the box.

Well, I was on the north side of the street & an hour later realized that MsDolittle and Saorirse were about 50 feet away from me!  Didn't see you!

Nice, though I hoped they might go see Sis for the night.

There's one boy home; he's in the very north corner.   :)

And he is off!  Did anyone else catch that quick visit?

As he perched on the ledge he tipped his head up and down a few times.  It reminded me of my cat just before she takes a big leap, as if using perspective from these different views to judge distance and height before committing to the action.

Whichever one he was, his exit was smooth but not the drop swoop of Trey, more a leap while flapping mostly forward.

And now the ledge is back to being empty.  (sigh)

We are all doing the best that we can, given schedules and real life. I've tried to keep people updated as to where we are, and at what times.
We have a wonderful group of people that have volunteered their time and have devoted themselves to the falcons and the project.
We can't be in all places at all times, much as we'd like to be. So, if you can't spot us, doesn't mean we are not there. We are, just not obvious at all times.
If any one else want to volunteer, just call Tracy and she'll get you on the schedule. thanks.

Thanks for that great picture Willmax. From what I could see from below (admittedly way below - see earlier picture!) the ledge is about the same depth front to back as the box. Is that right TPC? The wee miss just seemed to hop out of the box and boogy along the ledge with no problem - like she'd always been there.
TPC, on the part of the box that is inside the parkade there is something that keeps them from flying around in the parkade, right? :o

(Oh, P.S. -- since so many have asked, my name is pronounced SEAR-sha -- no, Bccs, your way isn't even close! -- it's Irish for freedom.)
Glad to know that Saoirse. At one point today - and keep in mind I was away from the forum and had been alone in the sun for a while - I decided it was Soarise - Sore eyes - as in "a sight for ..." - but the correct spelling and real meaning is way better. :)
Sorry I forgot your name in my earlier post. Sure was glad to see you though!

ROTFL!  I'm blinder than a bat than I thought I was!  I was west of the hotel in front of the Newport Ctre, leaning on the recycling bins.
Yay on the lurkers -- good on you all! ;D

I found this in my archives from 7-17-2007.
This is Missy or Mistral.

Just below her rt. wing is the ledge that we could watch them tearing up and down
that summer. Sheer terror!
This is looking south on the west side.

The main nest is to the left under the black louvers.
I'm not sure what stage this would be, I think she was in rehab b4 this.
