Just got back, the ground crew say that the girl is still on the east side, in the nest box. They saw mum and dad and the boys flying around so all is well. Not really raining right now, but still a bit gusty and cool.

Good morning everyone.  I see one of the boys has moved to the north corner.  Any idea where the other one is.  Just finished reading the remainder of last night's posts.  Thanks for the photos especially Dennis' of Tracy and Vesper (gotta start using little sis' proper name).  She didn't look any to happy with you Tracy...sure gave you what for.  Little bro is now on the north ledge.  To all the fledge watchers...thanks for your dedication...keep dry and have a good day.  Next year for sure.

Not a bad day out....damp but warm.  Just as long as the thundershowers keep away.

Hope Vesper decides to snuggle in with a good book.

Dennis those pictures were just great. Looks like the baby girl was trying to give Tracy a kiss!!! Thanks for all your trouble she is saying....Let me know if this is the girl on the east side.

Don't think so Mother Hen, she was all tucked in on the nest box this am.
Probably one of the boys hanging out on the ledge.
I'm going out to do an air quality check and will give you an update when I get back.

Today is the 9th and I saw missy on the east side ledge??? did she fly over the building and went home?? Was it her.she is there right now. There is also a spotter on Portage. Good for her since it is raining.

yes.....it did look like he was trying to land at the nest box or the blacl window thiing but calculations were a little off.

Hi guys, I posted this somewhere but I'm not sure where so I'll do it again.
Our girl is still in the nest box and seems content to be there.
A bit of a rainy,gusty day out, so with luck she'll stay put. Saw Princess do a big old flyby about 5:30. Haven't spotted the boys, but that's no surprise, given the weather.

For the fledge watchers; radar is showing the storm cells just going around
Winnipeg, more towards Steinbach in the next few hours.

I tallied total votes for names-6,198.

Not too bad considering people have to know where to go and vote,
pick 3 names and cast a vote. I think the last federal election was 63% so
many may have looked but may not have voted.

one of the boys just flew around the westside...triied too land but wasn't sucessful....and flew around to either a windoow ledge or the other side.  sis did a couple flaps with her butt twards Des and I.

Fledgling started out on ledge, moved inside. He's trying to snack on some of the leftover bits in the nest.   Keeps looking up.   Think he's hoping for a large meal to come by.

Loved the picture of Tracy with Vesper. (I am assuming that is the winning name). So much expression on Vesper's face of not being too pleased.  Perfect picture.
Someone is on the nest ledge on the point.  Too blurry to tell who it is, not that I could really tell the differnce anyhow.  Nice to see one sitting there tho.  Hope Vesper, Tupper and Ty survived the thunder storm this morning.  I am thinking they may have all been alone and not together like they would have been in the ledge.  Don't know if thunder and lightening affects them...it does not phase my cat at all unless it is an incredibly loud crack of thunder.
I guess we will officially know if that is the names sometime later today.
When i see the names in writing like that...they look good...even tho they were not all my choices.

6:05 am (CST) The rain seems to have calmed down for now but it's supposed to get very windy and rainy later on this morning.  Stay dry watchers and I hope all the young ones find a safe place to stay.  There's a blurry someone on Trey's point and if it's the same bird they were on the drain earlier this morning.

 Good morning all - 5:45 a.m. CDT some thunder showers in the area - not bad right now, but just heard things could get worse in a couple of hours. I guess the wind played havoc with the cam, but can make out one chick on the ledge right now.

I'm going to MEC tomorrow at lunch (11:30 ish) to pick up some stuff and hope to see a falcon or two or phanatics while I'm down there.
