Well, I can hardly believe my eyes. :o Phoebe's first egg of this clutch has hatched already, yesterday morning, just in time for the Royal Wedding! ;) I actually didn't expect a hatch so soon, exactly 17 days after being laid! :o

Phoebe laid her second egg, early yesterday morning. :) About 17 days till hatch. 8)

Well, I can hardly believe it! Phoebe laid her 1st egg in a new clutch yesterday morning! :o When I checked the nest last evening, I thought it looked like an egg in there, but did not believe my eyes, since her last chicks fledged only 5 days before that! :o

Second chick just fledged, moments ago. :D Phoebe came back to feed him/her, then off he/she flew! :)

Been watching these 2 "wingersize" all afternoon. :D One of them just fledged a few minutes ago and the one left behind in the dust, or should I say, nest,  is looking rather puzzled... "like, where's my bro'?" :-\ Now Phoebe is back with food for the one still in the nest. What a great mom she is! :D

Kouki & Haruka are still in the nest and it's getting pretty squishy in there. At least one of them had better start thinking about leaving home soon! ;)

I was wondering the same thing, bcf. :-\ I was thinking that maybe they were given Japanese names, in honour of the country of Japan, who have lost thousands & thousands of lives in the recent tsunami. :'( Don't know for sure, though. Just guessing.

The newborn twins have been named...Kouki (meaning light hope) and Haruka (meaning spring flower). 8)

I just saw them in the nest just now are they ever small and one lifted her head.  So cute.
