I just got home to see two chicks wingercising!    One had the right idea and went outside, but the other little guy stayed under the overhang and kept hitting the wall, the roof, his siblings and possibly even himself a couple times!
I thought I'd add a screen capture for all of you who are cam-less at the moment.

Chicks are sound asleep, all flaked out at the back of the box. Great beak shot of one cuddled up to the camera.

Everyone needs to keep their fingers crossed for tomorrow - we need sun in the afternoon so that the chicks stay "inside" in the shade ... it will make our extraction much easier on both my nerves and the chicks!!

Okay now, just when I finally get to view the webcam, it's covered up with a "chick derriere"! LOL!

  Just watched a feeding, one at a time. In my opinion, there are at least two females. But make no mistake, I will be the first to tell you, I have been wrong before. I just have to be patient and wait for the banding tomorrow.     Banding, so close!

We have the screen taken up by our aria performer.  This time at the conclusion of the piece we get mostly a back view as a new heartfelt tune is begun to be belted out.  Mostly only the heavy breathing is evident.

I'll second that request.  All I ever seem to see lately is a black screen.  I am completely going into withdrawl.

Well, finally, the webcam is back up again! Maybe the soccer game is over?! There goes that chick again, doing his opera singing for the camera again, ballywing! LOL!

Mother Hen, I suspect Tracy would have quite a few volunteers for that job -- she might have to hold a draw! Hmmmm . . . there's one more way to make money for the project!

Was able to watch the chicks a wee bit this morning at school with the Kinderchicklets.  But there sure has been a whole lot of webcam freezing today and now all I can get is a black screen. Sure do hope I will be able to see the banding tomorrow.

Dang Companies!!! There's more to life than WORK!!!

I'm with you ballywing.  I've somehow lost my flash player and I don't have administrative rights to install it again, so no more web viewing.  That means I will miss the banding tomorrow, so I'm really hoping there will be a video of it so I can watch it at home later.  Darn work
