Yes, Radisson did a great job for a first time mom.  She was so busy making sure Cassie was well fed and safe that she slightly neglected the house cleaning.   :P

LOL, just slightly,  :P  ;D  She doesn't appear to be catching up on her housekeeping even though she has more time on her hands now.

I wish them all a safe trip south and back in the spring.

Mom will stick around here now until she migrates. Peter and I will check things out tonihgt. I do not want it to be so but the kids may be gone :'( :'(

We will continue to go until the last falcon is gone.
Will write more later.

Thank you for all of the photos today.  I know that this must be a hard time for you.  The weather sounds pretty miserable there so take care tonight.

one more building picture. the second picture is a waterfall just below University area. It was my alma mater's 100 year anniversary and in its honor they had the waterfall in green and gold colors. i twas beautiful but this is best shot I could get with my small camera.

the unique thing about this is that is is on the High level bridge.  there are pipes constructed on it and a few times a year they turn them on and a waterfall forms . Of course it is costly so it is only on special occasions.

1. this is the  side of the nest box building that faces the street and this is where the last flew pictures of mom eating and hope perched were taken.
2.over the top and over a bit more is the front of the hospital

waterfall taken in the valley below campus

This seems to be Radisson's new favourite spot.  She was there when I checked in at sometime after 7 this morning and was just there again.  Does this indicate that the kids have definitely left the area?
I know I shouldn't try and guess what they are thinking, but when I look at her I just think that she is a happy and successful first time mom, kicking back after a very eventful few months.  After all, she fought another female for this nestbox and her mate.  She laid 2 eggs, hatched one and successfully raised Cassie to a beautiful young falcon.  She and Dad then fostered another chick, and educated and closely supervised the girls so that they could be independent young falcons, ready to face life out there is the big world.  I have the feeling that Cassie and Hope are starting their great adventure together and will be just fine  :) :) :)

Pictures from Saturday September 13 .Only had my small camera

adult on tower of Dentistry building

Adult further down on dentistry building

the juvenile was around the bottom back of the tower. we could see through the openings but this camera was not good enough to take shots

You can see adult on glass part of building on other end of building. Just gives you an idea of the area
