If baby fell out below the nestbox, wouldn't Mom be down where baby is instead of sitting in the nestbox looking sad?  I'm starting to get worried too since banding shouldn't take almost 4 hours.

Carly, aren't we closing in on 5 hours now since you first noticed chick gone? 
This is distressing news that no banding was scheduled.

I noticed mom keeps looking down, god I hope she didn't fall out of the box.  They would have left a ladder there and someone to distract the parents if they took her for banding wouldn't thy?

I called back and and spoke to reception, she said no one there is aware of any banding taking place today.  She says they would have posted it online and she has no information.  I've sent an email to Bev before we panic ... sometimes departments don't talk to each other.

Mom's been perched outside nestbox waiting for awhile now.  She's now in the nestbox looking out wondering where her baby went.    I feel bad for her; I wish they'd hurry up and return baby soon.

Yes it was 3 hours ago I noticed she was missing.  Still no one has called me back and I don't expect they will.  I have to leave work now, I'll be home and back online in 20 minutes...

Mom back again looking for her baby.  Over 3 hours now.

That's great, maybe with enough of us bugging them, someone will think to update the news.  Just saw another touch down, this time on the cam.  Poor parents!

Called the main line, explained what was going on.  She tried to reach a girl in ECOS but she's not there and said she'd have her call me back.

I also just sent an e-mail to the contact ont he web site, and got back a message saying that she would be back in the office on July 24th, which is not of much help.  I really wish I knew what was going on with the chick - it is very worrisome.

Sorry that was a lame attempt at humour to hide my worry.  I just tried calling that number and it's the same girl with the out of office email.  It's just not usual for a banding to take this long, 3 chicks here took an hour ad that included taking them down and getting them back up to the 17th floor so that's why I'm worried.  I know some places do blood work but it's been over 2 hours now which is really long.

And look a parent is back and gone again.

THAT kind of keg, I've heard of.
I just emailed the site office and copied to the two administrators.  Both administrators came back "out of office," as your queries had, but I maybe there is someone in the general office who can update the current news on their website.
