There's a guy up there now - not sure what he's doing.  Cleaning cam, putting dead birds in box?  Now he's gone...back again...where's baby?

What's going on? How come we know the chick is missing and nobody there seems to be aware?

Yes I see her moving now.  I'm hoping for the best too, the baby is so beautiful and the parents are just such good parents.

Fixed was to is...she is the most beautiful chick ever !

Thank you, Tracy, for getting involved.

My views are all refreshing every 15 sec. Mom is staying right there, but does keep looking around.

Camera 1 doesn't seem to be stuck - this is so sad. Can hardly bear to watch but am still hoping for the best.

Woo..thanks Tracy, sorry was posting same time as you and yes it seems stuck now but it's only been like that for about 15 minutes and I noticed she does move her head or maybe it's because I want her to  >:(

I thought because she was 26 days old for sure they need to band her and it's now over 4 hours since she's gone.  If she fell, peregrines don't go to the ground ever unless they are hurt or starving.  I'm afraid to even think about that or that someone could have stolen her.

I've emailed as a last ditch effort the Canadian Peregrine Association, I also emailed Tracy but I know she's having PC problems, worth a shot though because he knows the biologists there -

Bev was supposed to come last night and I know she'd check on the baby...she's very involved and cares for her alot so I'm hoping that means she is with her or knows something and just is busy and can't get to the PC?

I've got a call into all my contacts in Edmonton about the chicks - hopefully they will call me back with an update.  I'll post something as soon as I hear something ....

Just a note, it almost looks like the image is frozen though the timestamp updates ... does it look the same to anyone else?

If baby fell out below the nestbox, wouldn't Mom be down where baby is instead of sitting in the nestbox looking sad?
That's what I was thinking JL.  Looks more like chick is gone, and mom doesn't know why, or where.

Maybe Bev will check in here soon and let us know something.  She knows how to reach the biologists, and should be able to find out what's going on.
