Looks cloudy.  No action for me to see.  Ah well.  I was asleep (gladly!) when Aline issued her falcon alert.  Perhaps later I'll get lucky...

Falcon alert!   ;)

Too funny, maybe Lightning, came in the nestbox and did every corner, scratched here and there, funny looking.  Lasted just a few minutes.  ;D :D

I'm sure we will see them again... Like during bad rain storms.

I guess this is the end.  I kept checking last night and the nest was always empty.

It was enjoyable to watch them while they were there and we will have next year.

Next year we will have the Raddison to watch as well as Elk River and may more.

We phanatics will be very busy glued to our computers watching these wonderful falcons.

No one in the nest this morning, presumably none all night.

I am not dating this thread, it may be the last, unless they decide to turn outside cam on.

Been away all week fellow Phanatics. Are the babes coming back to the box at night still? No one there now but wondering what's been happening at night.... :(
The 3 of them were there each night til about Tuesday, was so great to watch them standing in a row.  ;D...Then Lightning was by herself for a couple nights......and for the past 2 nights - NOBODY! - .....sigh..... :-\

Nobody in the box and it's (obviously) late night there now.  Maybe someone will be there in the morning when Aline looks.

No problem, I miss them too...all that screeching and those tugs of war over the food - I had never seen that before and it was hilarious to watch.  Amazing how we've all gotten so attached to the little brats  :D

Nope - it was dad.  I could tell by the markings.  Short visit though - just a quick tour of the nest box, a visit to the ledge, hop to the rail, and off he went.  Nice to see him though!

Well, what a pleasant surprise!  One of the falcons just dropped into the nest box - by all the screeching, I will assume it is Lightning.

ooh!  Someone just hopped in!  I think it could be dad because he looks the right size and the coloring is more white by the head, but he won't give me a good view.  Cool to have a visitor!

He screeched on the way in, alerting me to have a look.  Thanks!  :)

A fledgling is perched the rail, and another is in the vicinity, I saw a flight. ;)

A few minutes later, I hear vocalisations from one or two of them, but can't see them, must be food delivery.
