A fledgling landed on the left side, stretched a bit, then walked towards the right side, ventured to the extremity of the perch stick on the far right side.  I think it is still there but out of view. ;)

LOL, Pchemist.  Well, at least we can find lots to entertain us!  Did you send an email to the webmaster asking for the outside cam?

I noticed a truck parked down there all last night -- think it was black, if memory serves (and it rarely does! lol).  Is that red thing a vehicle?  I thought it was a piece of equipment, or a trailer bed for something.  For the lawnmower, maybe?  Yeah, I guess it looks like the front end of a vehicle.

All quiet.  The black car/truck that was parked below all day is gone.  Looks like a red vehicle of some sort is down there now.

Isn't that interesting?  That's what you get when the birds desert you.  Car talk.

I just hear a lot of mechanical noises.  Not sure what it is, but if I were a bird I wouldn't want to hang out in that racket either!

Nobody home at the moment, but did hear some chirping that is definitely not a peregrine. Maybe that means the robins are still okay.

at least is has turned to nice weather - looks sunny and calm now.  Of course that probably means they are out flying and having fun and we don't see them - but I'd rather think of that happening than think about them huddles up waiting out rainy icky weather!

Well, admittedly I have it muted often when I'm in my office - can't imagine what my colleagues would thing hearing that screeching!  But when I'm at my computer I have the window up in the corner so I usually see stuff anyway.  It's when I have to LEAVE (silly people, expecting work from me) that all the good stuff happens.   >:(

Ah, bummer.  I get back to my office and nobody's home anymore.  Then I read that there were two for a bit.  Poop.  I missed it.

Well, Lightning is not alone any longer - one of her brothers just came in, and after a quick hello peck on her tail, perched on the ledge.  He looks pretty wet, as well.

I was thinking that it should feel kinda weird to have your feathers all blown over to one side sticking out like that, but she isn't moving one bit.  She's gonna have a bad hair day for sure!

It IS windy! - And if Lightning stays in the same position much longer, those blow-drying feathers are going to be stay sticking out sideways for good!!  :P

Looks like Lightning!  I'm sure it's a juvenile, and a windblown and damp one at that.  Glad she came home to shelter!   ;D

OH! - somebody is on the ledge!  ;D - probably Lightning? We don't seem to hear the screeching & chattering anymore, who woulda thunk we'd miss that racket!!  :P
