Just watched that feeding, MH.  Chicks are getting more aggressive and rambunctious, all looking so healthy (even though Princess isn't having a good year according to one of the CBC comments ::)).  One chick seems smaller than the other three - wonder if that's the chick who hatched last or maybe a male?  Perhaps we have three big girls and a boy ???

I think Ivy is going to need to bring in an overstufffed pigeon to feed these little ones.

Sounds like its raining in Winnipeg, doesn't look like its getting wet in the nest box which is a good thing.  :)

 ;)  Lots of hoovering around is needed as the nestbox needs to be housecleaned!!  haha, remember last year when they had all the left-over munchies piling up?  Guess they are there for the chicks to learn how to use their little beaks.  Amazing how much strength these little ones have!

At what age do the chicks start to pick at the carcasses that are brought for the munch times?  

And its munch time now!

I think it was just seven days on Saturday and Sunday, KC.  So I'm thinking Tuesday and Wednesday will be ten days, n'est ce pas?
