Looks like Princess left and Ivy came in to cuddle the kids.

Who was it who came up with the phrase "huddle-cuddle" a couple of years ago?  Not sure if it has made it into the Phanatic's Dictionary yet but will check.  In any case, with the cooler temps this morning (its been so warm since they hatched I'm sure it was a shock), this morning's chickpiles have definitely been "huddle-cuddles"!

Just an FYI, and I know I'm off topic, nothing new, but, the "huddle-cuddle", was, and always will be, bccs' remark about two years ago for the ever so cute white fluffy chicks!

It's getting harder and harder to tuck everyone in for a post-snack nap. It's amazing how quickly they grow.

Good evening all!  Nice to have the falcons back and active.

Just watching them being fed now....WOW, are they ever loud!   

It's a good thing though.

And they are in the chickpiled high huddle and some chickbirdie is quite vocal about it!  Seems there is one who has an inherent need to chatter to the siblings.  It is day 8 & 9 in these chickies lives.  How much they have grown!  I watched as they toddled around the next box going to explore.  haha, sometimes they have tipped over and did a beak plant in the stones.  But got to give them their dues, they got right back up again and toddled somemore!

5:45 - 6:00 (give or take) meal time.

Three chicks very excited and were even playing a bit of tug-of-war with food (one chick trying to grab it from sibling)

The forth chick hung out in the corner a bit then joined siblings - didn't seem very interested in what was being served.

I like the chick sqeaking. It makes a great background while I'm working at the computer.

Oh, I like it too, Moka, the Peregrine chatter blends in nicely with my three birds singing .  It just seems more than what I remember, especially when they're under mom or dad...Of course, they're pretty quiet now in their post-late breakfast coma

Susha - I think they are chattier than last year also 

I've been tuned in since about 6:30 and this is the first feeding that I've seen ( Haven't been by the computer all this time - it's on with the sound turned up - usually I can hear from the other room when there is some activity in the nest box .. .but I could easily have missed something, or they could have been quiet.)

Earlier on they were in a big chick pile, looking awfully content - so I'm guessing they had an early breakfast.

Kinda thought they were pretty hungry this morning watching the speed at which they fed!

Princess is shuggling them under her at the moment, I think everyone is settling down for a nap.

Is it my bad memory of seasons past or is this a particularly chatty and/or complaining bunch of baby Radissons?!?

I mean they're very adorable, but they rarely seem to shut up   Maybe it's just one or two that keep yapping...
