Actually that sounds vaguely familiar, but only vaguely.  Memory like a sieve I'm afraid. :P

Very glad the rain will stop for a few days ;D

Forecast is for the rain to stop in a couple of hours then the chance of precipitation goes way down for the next few days ... whoo hoo!

Cam's cleared up and I see that it's rain, rain, rain again :P  At this rate, our chicks will be needing webbing between those developing talons!

Actually, there is bird out there with some webbing between her toes (seriously), not sure but I believe its a "she" and I think she might be a grand kid of ours .... anyone else remember reading this just in the last couple of months??   ???

That slide show was hilarious RCF!  I especially loved the "Wheeee" with the wings snapshot.  I almost didn't look at it thinking I don't need to see them being fed again... but I'm sure glad I clicked on the link because your comments were delightful! hahaha heeheehee... still laughing to myself...

I can't believe all the rain you are getting!

Parent with his/her back to the camera - can see a bit of a chick in showing.

Thank you Rose & RCF for all the updates / pics and comments.

1725 hrs

It's raining in Brandon (big surprise) but it doesn't look like its raining hard.  Hurricane (I think) is dry and she has one chick under her and one under her wing, bit of breeze blowing up her tail and wing feathers but everyone looks fine ... looks like the chick under her wing is the bigger of the two who is also the one with more of his/her second coat of downy feathers ...

Looks like it's raining again  ::)  Two kids under Hurricanes left wing, but you can see only one.

Feeding going on right now. Their little crops are already stretched but they keep on eating.

Have to eat to grow big and strong. ;)

Now they are trying to waddle but are too full to move :D
