Why can I only see one chick in the nest, or is the other one under the one I can see.

Mom/Dad are "off", two chicks napping in the shade at the back of the nestbox at 1100hrs.

So, it looks like Brooklyn is back and I may have misjudged Hurricane.  Looks now like maybe she was saying "That's not a good enough meal - go and get something more substantial!"  Anyway, if that is in fact Brooklyn, he's trying to feed the babies a whole mess of feathers.  That's all it looks like, just a bunch of feathers. ::)

Dad just dropped in for a visit, with a little snack, and Mum just pushed her way in and sent him on his way >:(  then she took off herself.  How rude!

Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-dee are finally able to sleep in a big-chick chickpile, without the sheltering protection of a parent.  Finally, sunshine! ;D

The chicks are all alone this morning. They are each taking their turn calling. It really looks like they are calling for Mom. Dad came in a short while but left with a little piece of food.

RCF your slide show and captions are just perfect.  You must have a terrific imaginations! ::)

Ditto!

Chicks are enjoying a Saturday morning sleep in (or it could be a post- breakfast nap!)

Looks like the sun is out - could that be true?
