We were down town between 9:30 And 10:3o, first we went to the parkade ,Hurricane was in the nest box no sign of Brooklyn any where so we drove down to the parking lot beside the bus mall. we just got there and Hurricane came out of the nest box and sat on the blue/green pole (MTS tower).  While she was there she yelled several times but no Brooklyn, then we went to the parking lot beind the McK building,Hurricane was still on her post and still yelling. There was Brooklyn up on a west side 7th story window ledge having a little rest and/or snooze(the sneaky little devil)he looked down and saw us and decided he should go back to the tower. So back we went  Hurricane was still on her post and he was on a crossbar, she spoke some more and off Brooklyn went and back very shortly with prey which Hurricane grabbed. Then she was off to the nest box so we came home 8)

Bit breezy in Brandon right now ... Hurricane had a bit of trouble while she was preening, the wind kept messing up her "do" and the chicks just kept trying to crawl back under her ...  :D

And you can see the start of tail feathers now on one of the chicks - not to mention that their secondy downy coat has been filling in very fast over the last couple of days ...

That sure doesn't look like a bird that the chicks are being fed. I looks like it has paws! :o

Think it was a rail of some sort - they have relatively small bodies in relation to the size of their feet.  When the adults bring in food it usually comes without the head or the wings so it often looks like a rodent with two tails  ;)  Peregrines rarely hunt mammals and given the amount and variety of birds around the nestsite the likelihood you would see a mammal is pretty much nil - unless it's one with two tails of course  ;D

Another breakfast!! Brooklyn brought,Mom grabed, Brooklyn fled and Mom fed (mostly to the smaller chick). The bigger chick was still stuffed from the last feeding.

I see Brooklyn is sitting with the kids this morning.
Hurricane fed the chicks at 5:15 and left a few minutes later Brooklyn came in with prey all nicely prepared and feed the chicks again (they weren't too interested) but didn't turn it down then Brooklyn left with the prey and returned and has been with them ever since :)

Hurricane just returned.

Great photo, with Brooklyn's feet on the roof of the nestbox, rcf! 8)

Rose and I noticed last year the parents stand on top of the box quite frequently.  When the chicks are old enough they sometimes sit and sleep up top also.
