What always surprises me is how quiet hatching actually is, you expect there to be lots more noise and chaos and there really isn't.

1034 hrs

Still just 1.5 chicks and 2.5 eggs  ;)  Took just over 1/2 hour for the first tot to get completely free of the eggshell.

Just as a note, a couple of minutes before Eggette decided to hatch, Ivy came to the box with food.  For those of you watching and wondering what she was yelling about, she was telling Ivy to go back to the waiting room ...

Does it look like 3rd egg also has a crack? Not sure if I am seeing things.

For those of you keeping track of timings - the pip on the second egg was first visible at 0800 hrs.  Chick started breaking free at 1016 hrs.

I see a second egg cracked and open and the little one is trying its darnest to get free of the egg!!!!!!!!!!

she generally has them hatched out pretty close together if I remember correctly. so the rest should be hatching soon.

I watched most of yesterday late morning.....didn't see a thing but I did hear little chirps. Glad one down and now 3 to go.
