Wonderful to have a chick......I missed all the excitement.  :'(  Had to leave for 45 min. but I will be glued and hopefully catch the arrival of at least one of the rest of the babies.

Just saw the chick.....aawwwweee.......Sweet!!

TPC...over the years of watching Princess is it typically her that is on the eggs during hatch? I guess I have never paid attention to who was on them.

Chicks hatch whenever they manage to get the shell to finally break open, there hasn't been a "usual" time.

Keep in mind that the chick has virtually no strength and has expended alot of effort getting out of the egg, so if you don't see a meal until tomorrow, don't panic, these two know what they are doing.  ;)
