Radisson - 2008 / Trey & Princess

You saw my post from the 20th (or 19th) that I actually saw Trey on Friday?!!  I was SO happy to see him.  First time this year.  And I'm really hoping that not seeing Princess in the last few days means she's nesting.     

Trey left the tower on the Radisson (where he sits when there are chicks, as T had told us), flew overhead for a short time, and then when to his other special place, the east-side Radisson sign.

We're very close then, because I'm in Victoria!

I too, am going to have to call it a night pretty soon. Hopefully we'll wake adn log on later today and be greeted with good news our Trey and Princess have been seen!

Liz! I forgot about the time difference -- it's been fun, but you've got to go to bed!!!     It's only 12am here (and I seem to recall FalconVal is in BC, too) so it's not that late in relation to your time.

I'm glad you started this new thread, though. I'm really hoping, too, that Trey is spotted later today and that Princess is discovered in the nest box when Tracey checks it!

So it's me, Enraptured and falconval on at almost 2 am.  Talking about our cats!  lol. 

I hope tomorrow (later today) brings new sightings of our pair, or Trey at least!  I'm still thinking Princess is AWOL because she's working on a new clutch....talons and feathers crossed!

Me too -- it made my whole week!  First time I've seen either one of them actually in the air, this year.

Hmmm, actually, I think you're right Liz!  I took that (or one just like it) on June 13 & sent them to Tracy.  Could see Trey on the ledge and Princess was on the Radisson sign at the same time.
Was looking for your phone number when Trey (I think?) took off from the tower - glad you saw him!

FINALLY!!!!!  I just saw Trey leave the tower, do a swoop over the MTS Centre, and then land on the east-side Radisson sign.  (I assume it was him since those are his two favourite spots.)

I also thought I could see something white on the nestledge earlier in the day.  I really need to bring my binocs to work!
