TPC is dry at the moment and intends to stay that way.  The webcam is slated to go live on Wednesday but that pre-supposes that we can get up and shift the eggs before then.  At the moment we are going with Wednesday but I will let everyone know if there is a delay.  We are still more than a week, probably close to two until hatching, these two do like to go 30+ days on their eggs which would put us after two weeks from now - day 30 from the start of incubation is May 22nd. Weather and equipment availabililty are the two biggies now.  Weather on Monday looks good, but don't know if the equipment will be available.  Tuesday am could be okay but the afternoon is suppose to have rain and I don't want to move the eggs in real rain, more stressful on the adults.  Tuesday will be the warmest day though which would be good as a tradeoff.  Wednesday is cooler and rainy.  Thursday is cooler but sunny again - unfortunately, at a week-ish out that is too long a forecast to count on.  Sooo, I'm dry today and getting things in order so we can move fast if we have to ...

0920 hrs (local) - its snowing here but its light, wet and there is no wind.  It's just above freezing at the Airport, so it should be a bit warmer downtown, so not so cold.  Environment Canada forecast says there is wind (NNE 17 km/h at the Airport; N 7 km/h at the Forks) but nothing is moving in my neck of the woods and I couldn't see any snow or feathers moving as I watched the cam.  I'll keep an eye on it.   The birds are damp but not much else wrong so far today and the eggs are fine in this kind of weather with Mom & Dad incubating.

Have posted a couple of photos of Trey on the eggs.  Will post more as the day goes along - Photo Gallery

Where I am in Winnipeg it has been snowing for about the past 3 hours.  Most of it has been melting as it hits the ground but these are still miserable conditions for Princess and Jules.  And for TPC  too if she is out there somewhere today trying to install nest trays.  ???

For some reason I thought you were commenting on something you were seeing right then.  No worries!

We get locked out at 5 pm, like it or not.   (I love it - overtime not required!)

Sorry, but I'm not a 'digger' in this group.  I do it all day long at work, and I really need a break from it at home.  I'm sure someone will find it!
no worries Liz  ;D!  wasn't wanting you to dig.. but I think the shovel will do little digging on some of these posts!
