Well now, there will be a lot of us Birks people out there when it happens, so don't be too sure of yourself. I have friends who will protect and shelter me from the prying eyes of TPC. There may be a decoy or two out there. But I'll give you a clue, I'll be one of the sober ones. 8) 8)  Back at cha- :-*

LOL, what, I'm wishing you'd spit or have I lost the parenthetical superpower? :P

Nah, neither.  I have found that phanatics are usually pretty easy to spot downtown, particularly when something is happening on the Hotel  :-*

lol Bev. But if I wore one, for sure she'd aim at me. Right now I have the advantage of anonymity as she doesn't know what I look like.

1215 hrs (local) - Princess is on the eggs, ledge is still in full sun and she is doing some open mouth panting.  Environment Canada is reporting 16C downtown so the panting is due to the sun, not the air temp.  When the sun goes behind the Hotel in the next hour, it should be warm-ish, calm-ish and much more pleasant for both birds.

There are only two windows on that side and they are reason there is a ledge for these birds to nest on!!!   Its all the windows' fault Princess & Trey nest there, so they can stay dirty!  ;)

Lovely day!!  8) - but it seems tomorrowwill be 'Not So Much' with alot of rain predicted -hope the new platform is coming soon!

nest tray will be ready to go when there is equipment available to get us up there.  This is the busy season for cleaning windows and since we need to use a window cleaning swingstage to access the ledge, we have to slip in between jobs since it takes time to move and set-up/tear-down.  We keep getting closer to it happening though .... For you all its a case of hurry up and wait for the cam to come online, for me its a case of wait then hurry, hurry, hurry  ;D

1055 hrs (local) - there is a bit of air movement on the ledge but its not doing anything but fluffing feathers.  Its still full sun on the ledge and the air temp downtown right now is 13C heading for 19C today.  There are some remains from a meal on the ledge that both Princess (who is incubating right now) and Trey have been playing with.  No feathers, looks like feet - bones and toes, not food.  Trey dragged it around with him as he changed position a couple of times, made me think of it as a peregrine version of a remote control ...  Princess hasn't been much better  ::)
