Princess finally turned herself to fit into the box.   ;D  Only got a brief glimpse of the eggs though so I don't know how that pip is coming along.

1648 hrs (local) - Princess in the bin and purposefully making it look difficult and uncomfortable.  If she would just move her tail to the right (her right folks) then she wouldn't have to suffer through the wind up her tail feathers.

Besides, if she doesn't like the bin (she's trying to bite the sides again), she should use the nestbox upstairs!!!
Pchemist, it is Princess and she is still doing it!

so is this Trey, because of being sideways and fitting with the undignified tail over the edge?   ;)  Too bad about the blowing the feathers up, but better than rain!

Yes I checked the weather for the peg earlier and it looks promising!  Hopefully that wind will die down soon too  :P

I think it is Carly, certainly the clouds are higher.
Forcast looks good for the next little while, keep your fingers crossed. Think we're going to have chick(s) tomorrow.

Is it suddenly brighter there or just wishful thinking?

1720 hrs (local) -   I think I know know what the biting is all about - its peregrinese for "Pigeon, pigeon, pigeon, its raining AGAIN.  The minute I get back on these eggs, it rains.  Does the rockstar get wet, Nooooooo.  Tercels, bah, tercels."
LOL TPC.  had no idea that pigeon was really another word for rats? or darn or egad. Well one of those 4 letter guys
Laughing quietly into my hand. :o ::)

1720 hrs (local) - the rain is back, not heavy but enough to make the gravel wet again and to tick Princess off again.  I think I know know what the biting is all about - its peregrinese for "Pigeon, pigeon, pigeon, its raining AGAIN.  The minute I get back on these eggs, it rains.  Does the rockstar get wet, Nooooooo.  Tercels, bah, tercels."

There are drops falling in front of the camera's environmental housing but remember, the camera is 30+ feet away horizontally and about 20 feet above the nest ledge.  The camera is zoomed right in, so when you see the "rain", that's not what's hitting the ledge, chances are its what is running down the edge of the building since the camera is right against the Hotel to increase stabilization.  When the chicks get larger, we will zoom out again so you won't miss a moment of their hijinx.

It is raining again in west Winnipeg.  I hope that this misses the Radisson.  Princess is just too funny. It looks like she is saying, I'll just hide my head down here in the corner and pretend that this isn't happening. :D

I am home.  Falcon Cam is working great.  Feathers are being ruffled by the wind.  I am so happy.  Thanks to all responsible for getting the Falcon Cam working.  You have made a lot of people so happy.   :D  :D  :D
