1521 hrs (local) - for those of you keeping score, that's Trey in the bin right now, Princess I don't believe has been back since the rain stopped - standard practice with these two. Size is easier to tell with the bin, Trey fits in with room to spare, Princess fits, but length-wise and not much room between her beak/tail and the box edge.
Actually the bin I think is helping Dad here a bit. He likes to face north but when he does, he gets flipped and he has to turn around again (and he's the only one that does the tail-up-the-wall thingy, Princess is much too dignified for that). With the bin, it looks like he can get his tail out of the wind facing north, south, soutwest or northeast (
). Like that.
