Mom is moving a bit, trying to get a better position from the wind. We shall see. Nope she shifted again see how long that lasts lol S!hifted again and she seems to be looking at the eggs alot.  We have a hatching!!!!!!! Mom is eating the egg

The wind is still blowing and will for pretty much the rest of the day.  It is suppose to be sunny and up to 17C today, right now it is 10c.

Well right now Princess is hunkered down, her beak to the gravel. The wind has been blowing for sure,seems to have calmed down. Head check, look around, back to beak to the gravel. And the sun is coming in and out from behind clouds.

Glad the rain stopped, but DANG I wish that wind would settle down!! - Looks like today is the day!! - Pics & play-by-play would be sooooo appreciated for those of us who will miss the live action!!

Maybe she has 'pica'., an eating disorder that makes you want to eat non-food things.. lol

A breezy day in Winnipeg but other than that the conditions are very good for any potential hatches.  That clear plastic box is great for these conditions because the incubating bird can get their head down out of the wind and still keep an eye (or two  ) on what is going on.
Oops    caught by a gust of wind, tail in the air.  I think it is Princess and she was so annoyed that she is trying to bite the box again.  
I have to go out for a while so I hope that others are keeping an eye on developments ( or just watching a bird sitting in a box  )

Princess is trying to eat the tray again. Man, is she persistent.

Morning all!  Cam just focused in time for a shift change and Whoa, 2 eggs have pips, the one on our left and the one at the back.    It looks like Trey is taking his turn.

Take detailed notes as I will miss it unless they hatch this morning before my banding!  Oh and take screen shots too

YES!!!!!!!!!! I finally have the opportunity to watch a shift change! Man I have missed these guys!! YEAH!!! And so from this point forward when I am home my life is with them, So much for spring..lol

One last check before I get ready for work. P & T very restless on the eggs.  On and off of them.  Looks like a lot of talking from them.  Finally it looks like Trey (I think) has settled down on the eggs. Feathers are a bit ruffled from the wind. He is wiggling a lot.  I better go. Thanks again to all who will keep us informed today.
