I get nervous when a chick goes up to the ledge and looks out!!! Yikes....... little one don't even think of fly just yet! Adult feather appearing. Still sooooo cute.

Wow! awesome closeup of the three chicks!

I'm amazed at how much more coordinated they are now, compared to last week. And I think I saw a couple of them looking over the ledge earlier today. I guess it's easier to pay attention to the world around you when you aren't spending all your time trying to keep your balance!

A mid morning meal has arrived and all three chicks abandoned the shade and are tucking in.  I think that it is Trey doing the feeding this time.

Two chicks talking to one another:  you know I heard some really good stuff about the neighbourhood's kids down the street.
Second chick:  oh, really, do tell!
Third chick:  zzzzzzzzzz

Correct me, if I am wrong, but with one of the chicks standing next to the corner ledge, if it really stood up, could it not see over the top of the ledge?  Not right over, but at least over the top of the "railing?"  It did look like the top of its head was a little more than even.

And now the flurry of activity is over and two of the three are snoozing in the shade of the ledge again.

What was that all about?  Parent, Trey I think arrives with a small food item, chick grabs it and runs.  Trey is then chased off by ..Princess?

Okay, I can see feet on the ledge -- one of the parents has arrived, though not with food, it seems!

Two are suddenly more alert -- sitting up and preening -- maybe they're expecting either a second breakfast or a visit from a parent.
