Only 2 pages of observations at this hour of the day?! Must be pretty quiet in downtown Winnipeg right now! Our chicks must be either snoozing or hiding out somewhere! ;)

um, pchemist, um, if I'm to get into the mind of the chicks, does that mean I should start working on the art of projectile pooping??????

ewwwwwww.   :-X

still looking at an empty ledge full of weeds.  Making me realize more than ever that my yard isn't going to just wait for me to get to work in it, so I'd best get going.  *sigh*  (notice the BOT?   ;D)

Yesterday she and Princess were having a wee conversation in the late afternoon. Princess has a deep, loud voice - like a real loud clothesline that needs a good oil. Vesper, on the other hand is finger nails on a blackboard. And she still seems to think that she can just sit on her butt and squawk and someone will deliver!  I love it. Pushy broad.
Great description of the noises/sounds coming from Princess and Vesper, deb! Really made me laugh! ;D Thanks for all the updates of "the boys" and "our girl", as well as Princess and Trey, everyone. Sure wish I could be there to witness a food exchange in mid air. That must be truly amazing to see! So glad to hear that all of our "juvies" are doing so well, developing their flying skills. Wish I could see them all back on the nestledge one more time!  :(

strap a pillow to your face, then try.  ;D

honest, I'm only saying this so you can have a full peregrine experience.  Not for any other reason.  Gotta get into the mind of the chicks, you see.  it's important work.

I'd do it, but I'm not local.  8)

was it a waddlestompfaceplant walk?

I was picturing more of a Monty Python-esque silly walk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wippooDL6WE&feature=fvst

Tracy, do either you or EyeSpy have a screen capture of our intrepid ground force? Since the Phanatics Afar cannot see the birds it would be fun to have a peek at the bird watchers.
That video had me laughing so hard Three ;D :-*  But that's not the walk that Pam made me do ;D ;D

But what I need to know is about this:
Quote from: bccs
Did anyone take pictures of this falcon walk imitation that bccs is worried about?
Quote from: bccs
I sincerely hope not bcbird, although we never do know about the web cam ( oh crap )
was it a waddlestompfaceplant walk?

Everything but the faceplant pchemist, the concrete would hurt way to much ;D

Wee! Nice runaround. Acting on a tip or just seeing what there was to see? Last night and I gather again this morning they were all on the Radisson but not one of them in a place that the camera could see. Way to go family! Yet another reason to come down and see them in person! :D
(Sorry out of towners. :-\)
Of course, because I have been doing mid-day shifts when the downtown is at its noisiest, yesterday evening was also the first time I could really hear them. It was great!
