Air quality check,  no birdies on the east, north or south that I can spot.
But wow, it is one beautiful day out there!! ;D

Only saw one of the birds on the West Nest a couple of times yesterday and one so far today. Once the sun moves I start looking more.......

In the midst of all this "X-rated activity" and canoodling, I hope that Princess has decided that nesting on the West would be the thing to do this year! If we're expecting her to lay eggs in a couple of weeks, how far ahead should we expect her to get busy and prepare the nest?

from Kinderchick, yesterday,

LOL!!! Yes! For sure, I plan on bypassing any discussion of this situation with the Kinderchicklets!

I hope you know that I was only teasing you, Kinderchick. I don't know how to indicate that on a blog, it's hard to translate a ton of voice.

Anyway, am off to work, can't wait to see what happens today. This blog is the first thing I check when coming home.

Happy Peregrining, everyone.

Year end should fall earlier and not interrupt your viewing of a very important beginning of a season with our falcons. The gov should change their schedule.   :)

It is hard to keep my mind on work, that's for sure!  Unfortunately, this is our worst/busiest time of year.....

Oh I will definitely be watching because once the first egg hatches and that little white ball of fluff apears, you are hooked.
It will just be a bit sad, wondering what happened to Trey.  That is the only thing with the falcons or any bird and animal you watch, there is always a chance one will not return and unfortunately you rarely if ever find out what happened to them.
I did have 3 years of watching Trey and I will not give up until he does not appear for 2 years.

Well if Ivy and Princess are canoodling (sp) we will see eggs in a couple of weeks, I'm guessing. Nature has taken it's course and we will have to wait to see what happens. Would have been nice if things had been different BUT.
Will still be watching and whatever happens, it is the way it should be or intended to be.
 :) :) :)

True enough, Linder.

Is there any way of finding out if Trey is okay or where he may be? Is there anyway of knowing where the birds go for the winter months?

I log on and see Observations in my unread posts and I hope by some miracle that someone will be posting that there is a 3rd Peregrine downtown.
But not this time.

We just went for a walk to MEC and on our way there someone was sitting on the East Side "n".  After we came out of the store there was someone sitting on the nest box for a moment.  Who ever he/she was just went for a glide in circles for 3 light changes and disappeared behind the radisson.

I think Kinderchick can probably bypass the mother-son mating discussion with her kindergarten Kinderchicklets!!!  :o
LOL!!! Yes! For sure, I plan on bypassing any discussion of this situation with the Kinderchicklets! :o And for now, we are just looking at photos of Princess and waiting for the webcam to come back up, sometime in late May, I would imagine :-\ No serious questions from the Kinderchicklets for TPC, just yet! ;)
