Just watched Ivy egg sitting. He was facing the camera, and all of a sudden did the cat - I see something that I have to get - look. He got up off the eggs, attacked a pebble and then went back to the eggs and continued to sit. ;D

Is that Ivy in the nestbox right now?  :-\ He has been very busy, working his way around the right side of the nestbox and even right up close to the camera! Great view of him!  8)

Some might say nay, but we here know better.

It is very exciting watching eggs incubating, and nothing like watching paint dry!

They were left alone for about 5 minutes... then I think Princess came.. looked a little bigger but I could be wrong about that....

OMG!  :o Got home from school and had to check the Falcon Cam. I thought a chick had hatched! :o Something white and moving to the right of Princess. Must be some "leftovers"! ::)

I don't recall Princess ever allowing Trey to have as much incubating time as Ivy is having this year.
Just wondering if this will contine when the eggs hatch??

Hope so, it looks like Ivy is certainly paying his dues. Had my doubts about him, but I have to say, what a guy!! ;D ;D

I think TPC thought that hatching could start from mid to the end of this week. :)

I like this time of day in the nestbox. Nice and bright and sunny, with a good view throughout the nestbox. :D

Bahahaha, just watched 2 minutes of Ivy trying to get all four eggs under him.
Poor bugger is going to have one heck of a time when there are real live chicks !! ;D ;D
I agree.  I'm so happy they're not out on the east side!!  They could be sooo soggy in any rain.
