when I checked on the Environment Canada site just now the severe thunderstorm watch has ended for Winnipeg... :)

while the chicks continue to 'stutter' at least they may avoid getting rained on.

They're in the sun....for now.  Raining in this end of the city.  Scattered thundershowers...looks lighter out the chicks way but that could change. :(
Enough with the rain already..... :P

All four in view now, enjoying the sun and getting in some serious wingercizing! It's going to be a nailbiter once they start hopping up on the edge . . .  :o

Thank you for the new view & the update on the cameras.

Two are in the top corner enjoying the sunshine. I think they've doubled in size over night!

It saddens me to see the negative comments about CBC. These things happen. Without CBC/Shaw, would we have the operating cams that we have? Thanks to all, CBC, Shaw, TPC, Eye Spy, Dennis and thanks to all of the administrative staff. Without all of you, collectively, we would not be able to follow the progress of our Peregrines, year after year.  :-*

Don't be saddened by my comments about the CBC.  I love them dearly - always have.
But I think that after all this time there should have been some resolution/explanation/ future plan of the issue from them.  They are a huge corporation with incredibly talented people.
Is there no other way that we could get better video coverage of the Radisson Royals?
Just asking.

Despite all the good work of everyone involved here with the site, CBC involvement with the web cam has been unbelievably bad!  I hope there will be some way to get rid of their part in the future.  It's all very well to be able to blog - whatever, but I'd like a server (?) that could send the wonderful stuff  the "falcon" team collect and tell us about the birds without a continually stuttering image of the peregrines themselves.  Shame on you CBC.

I want to add to all the other posts, "Thank you", Eye-Spy for the clean up and for now making it possible to have two views of the Radisson Royals. I know this isn't the place for this.. sorry TPC... but I have to say that I was reading the CBC comments page and there is a BigBird on there causing a raucus... IT'S NOT ME!!!
Not to worry, BigBird, we know it's not you. :) You have never been known to cause a raucus like that! :o And besides, all of the members on this Forum are friendly and respectful of each other's comments and opinions. ;) :-X

BOT...

And now a super clean lens, too - 2 streams at once!
You rule eye-spy!

Can't see a thing here at school.  :'(

Thanks for the lens clean up ES! ;D  Seems like we need a little more contrast or something ???  You'll fix it ;D

Yes, we could use a little more contrast... like maybe some white, rather than all black.  ::) Maybe Eye-Spy cleaned the lens too much! ;)

Ditto!  I love CBC, but if the web problems are due to something they're doing or not doing, then :P :P :P :P :P :P

(probably a $$ thing - public broadcasting and all)

Mom is very close by and has been this week. Directly above the nest usually but not right this minute. Ivy is higher up on the ariel. I can use the cam this week I am very lucky. So when the switch occurs we will be able to see thru what cam is working that that minute? So if babies are in the sun that will be another camera? Not sure I am following?????  I will be out of the office after Wed and not for almost three weeks so will miss alot of the progress. I will have to watch from home.
