Despite all the good work of everyone involved here with the site, CBC involvement with the web cam has been unbelievably bad!  I hope there will be some way to get rid of their part in the future.  It's all very well to be able to blog - whatever, but I'd like a server (?) that could send the wonderful stuff  the "falcon" team collect and tell us about the birds without a continually stuttering image of the peregrines themselves.  Shame on you CBC.

Eye-Spy was up cleaning the lens for y'all and setting up the system so that we can remotely switch from the box-cam to the sky-cam without actually having to go on-site.  Will be useful as we have more rain coming our way and the chicks do not like getting wet this year. 

So, regarding switching camera views:

1) We are not "on" all the time.  When we are, we will switch as appropriate. 
2) If we aren't "on", y'all will just have to wait.  We will however, try to leave the view where we think there will be the most action based on weather and time of the day.

At the moment (1220 hrs local) all the chicks are inside, despite the fact that there is no rain - two are standing, two are standing, two are lying down and all I can see on the skycam is a beak.

Ooooooooooh - Magic!!! ....One second the poopy Inside Cam.....the next second the crystal clear Sky Cam!!!   - What a view!!! Thanks Eye-Spy!!! - Now we just need to get the chicks to go  outside!!!

A little foggy that camera..lol but I think one is sleeping right in front of the camera with one standing guard right beside them. The other two I can't see

Luckily we have the nice clean sky cam to look forward to ~~ - probably pretty soon I'm guessing, 'specially since this cam is getting so ...er....foggy ....and since the chicks are spending more & more time outside! 

...is that a hint ?
Should I go tomorrow and make it so ?

Come to realize that this poop-art is worse than "paint by number" right now.  With the sun shining on it ......pretty hard to see through it.

I think it's known as "looking through a glass darkly", Ellie! LOL!
