Has there ever been a time when a chick did nto fledge.  If so what happens or do the parents start to tempt the youngen out.

I forgot to add that MsDoolittle came along, too -- and, by the looks of her, she's been out in the sun watching the birds more than a little bit!    Sunscreen, anyone?

2021 hrs (local) - two of our fledglings just reappeared, one is now eating in the box.  Aura is still on the ledge.  Not sure, but it might have been that one of the chicks got food from one of the adults away from the nest and they brought it back to the box to eat.

Been busy most of the afternoon so am just getting caught up on all of the Radisson posts. What a delight to tune into the outside spycam and to be able to see Aura on the ledge! Thank you! Thank you! Glad you got to see all 3 chicks on the Rogers Bldg. this afternoon, Saorise!

...Wow, it is so exciting.  How I wish I could join you there during this fledge watch to see these birds for real.

Wish you could be here too, bcbird!   I'll just have to tell you all about in person in a few more days!

What a treat to see the ledge perspective.  Thank you for all the great work eye-spy one the activating both cams (and on the cleaning, of course).  Aura is one relaxed chick - well so far.

I'm so upset that I will be leaving town until Monday and will have only limited internet access.  Things are getting really interesting with the other camera views (and EXCELLENT still-shots being posted).  Please please please everyone continue to post updates, observations etc because I plan to read through everything as soon as I get back.  Sadly, I' probably miss Aura's fledge - but then again little miss no-one-told-me-to-hurry may decide to wait for my return.

Have fun everyone, I'll miss the falcons, forum and fanatic friends!

After work, I headed downtown and spent a couple of hours with Pam, heads swivelling between the Rogers Building and the nestbox. Thor, Loki, and Isis were on the roof of the Rogers Building -- yes, we did see all three of them at one time, although there was very little activity aside from one brief (very brief) flight out and then back to the roof. Aura strolled up and down the ledge a couple of times, then flattened enough that we really couldn't even see a feather. No sign of Princess or Ivy anywhere -- actually, the only thing flying was a helicopter -- but at least the kids are accounted for (or they were as of 6:00 pm!).

1908 hrs (local) - Aura is flat on her belly on the ledge closer to the ledgecam.  The wind is fluffing her feathers a wee bit but she's in a patch of sun and seems perfectly content to nap at the moment.

Eye-Spy is working on getting to cams to stay "on" when we switch between them ... he did alot of beta testing in advance but still have a problem.
