Isis found herself on too low a building this morning and after trying unsuccessfully to gain some altitude as her brothers have learned to do, she ended up on the street and was rescued by MsD and Bccs who were on fledgewatch this morning.  Because her attempts to get higher were physically tricky (mid-air direction changes, wall-walking), I'm going to have her looked at by Lisa at Prairie Wildlife Rehab.  I couldn't see any obvious injuries on her, but given the stress of her morning, I decided to leave the physical exam to Lisa - she's better at it and my efforts would only increase Isis' stress levels.

Don't immediately assume the worst folks, Loki's fledging adventure was not that dissimilar to Isis' this morning and he is fine.  Will let you know what I hear once Lisa has had time to examine her properly.

Thanks for your report this morning, bccs.  Can't get downtown today for fledgewatch. Too many errands to do. I can see Aura on the right corner of the nest ledge, but no wingersizing right now.

I see that Aura is having a mid morning (8:50 local time) snack (at least I think it is Aura as I only see the one in the nest right now)

Aura didn't fledge, remember that the other kids return there often and you'll be seeing lots of comings and goings by them.     Deep breath now.

Watching one looking out of the nestbox. OMG, did I just see Aura fledge or was that another bird?

  Good morning all. I was on earlier, Aura was looking out over the ledge. I guess she will keep us on edge again today. Thanks, bccs for your early morning update. For all fledge watchers, I hope the wind stays calm and perfect temps.

I am baaaack!. I sure did miss alot of the action. But right now the little one is in the corner......I must learn their names.

No one in the nest box so Aura must  be on the ledge making everyone nervous   Thanks bccs for your info from this morning. Your air quality checks were so often last year...........different location of the nest sure changed things around. What a difference a year makes.  We got spoiled ......

It was a pretty calm watch this morning. Aura is starting to flap a bit more and seems to be moving along the edge of the ledge with more confidence and skill.
The boys and Isis seem to stick close together. If one flys off, the other two follow.
Not too much to report this morning, just the flyers honing some skills and building up strength. They seem to like the south side of the Radisson, the Rogers Building, MTS Centre and CityPlace as places to hang out. I saw them at all these places this morning, flying a bit lower at times, but still soar when they go to the Radisson.

There's only a bit of wind, not much to speak of. All in all, a nice quiet morning.

Oh....she is making me nervous the way she is running and flapping along the egde of the nest box.  My heart just stops.  I hope she does not fall.  I know I am probably worrying for nothing. 
I hope someone is down there watching in case she does accidently fledges.

So nice to see one in the nest.  At this time you know the days are numbered for seeing them.  She is flapping every once in awhile.  Sure hope she does not take off.  I don't think she is ready.

  Just logged on and saw two birds. One on the ledge, (oops, just took flight) and another, Aura, is at the ledge looking at the scenery or awaiting breakfast. I wonder what this day will be like. Without a doubt, more anxiety for sure.

Aura definitely, Loki & Thor were around just before sunset, but I'm not sure if both stayed ...
