Great pictures.  Chicks do not look too pleased in some of them but they are so cute.  But then they do have great genes in them.

Reporters sometimes ;) ;)
yes, the colored tape will fall off. It was wrapped around the silver band not the one with the Band numbers.
Gord did use electrical tape. he said it would adhere and not be a problem. Hopefully it stays on till after they are out of danger.

I am going over to read Bran dons.
We had 3 males and you had 3 females. we need the males though.

Hey Bev ... nice photos so far, can't wait to see yours!

Have a question about the article ...
Quote
Each falcon was strapped with a silver band that contained numbers that enable Alberta’s fish and wildlife division to track the bird. The birds were also equipped with a black band that can be read with a telescope and coloured bands that local birdwatchers track. Those bands eventually will fall off.

the "fall off" bands the reporter refers to, s/he actually means the tape will fall off, right?

Those photos in the link you gave were great.  Thanks, Bev.

It looked like those chicks were LOUD in their opinion of the paparazzi, though they were certainly very photogenic.

Looking forward to your pictures too.

I like the 9th photo where the chick has one foot up a bit.  kinda looks like there's some toe-tapping going on.   8)
