Thank you so much Bev and Mr. Bev and all else who have sent updates..........Thank You, Thank you! ;D ;D
It is great to hear how well the "kids" are doing and that Froona is on the way also.  Yes it would be nice to know what happened to Mr White ???..........perhaps you will know in time.  The other three are doing very well indeed!
Met with a cousin from Edm yesterday and told her about the Falcons........word of mouth works wonders!  Have a good sleep and enjoy the rest of the fledge. :)

To Bev, Peter, Carly, Eli and Lorac...and others involved!

This has been a wonderful thread to follow.  Thank you so much for all you have done!

It's been wonderful to read about Mom, Dad, Mr. Red, Mr. Yellow and Froona and all the drama in between.  I know we have all been worried about Mr. White, but we don't in fact know where he is or what he's doing.  Let's try to think that Mr. White is okay...and concentrate on Mr. Red, Mr, Yellow and Froona as Bev wrote.

Bev...you must be exhausted!  Thank you for all your dedication and hard work and for making everyone aware of Peregrine Falcons.  Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough.  Thank you to Peter (Mr. Bev), and Carly for all of your hard work as well, keeping us phanatics up to date.  From all of the reports and updates, it feels like we're all right there with you!  I wish we were!

A very big, actually huge thank you to all involved in the U of Alberta's falcon fedgewatch!

The most important moment to remember....We're here for the peregrines, to help them as much as we can and to create awareness so we can continue to help them for their future!

Many, many thanks to the fledge watchers for the great report and updates. Special thanks to Mr. Bev and Bev for the detailed reports today. It's so good to know all three are doing well, and especially that Froona has been flying and has been fed.

Bev, you are a wonderful advocate for these beautiful birds, and you have done so much to raise public awareness and appreciation of them. You have been doing a fantastic job, and your dedication to the fledge watch is unparalleled! These juvies are so lucky to have you and all the dedicated fledge volunteers watching over them.

Looking forward to more good reports and to seeing photos.

Hi guys.

Peter has sent me home early so I wanted to give you a report from me.
sorry I have not been able to write with the usual pictures .

I t has been so crazy. All the rescues were not becasue the kids were poor fliers .
I will tell you all about at the end of the watch.

Well Miss Froona certainly gave me a heart attack last night as did the boys. that wind storm came up so fast . I thought we would never see one of the boys again , he went so far.

It was just amazing to see mom take off so fast and just soar so quickly down and retrieve the youngster and steer him back. WOW!!

But when we lost Froona , my heart stopped. I did not want to leave but it was dark and I hoped for the best.

I did not want to go this morning but I could not desert them.

The construction guys have been so help ful and when they saw her  tears just rolled.
 :-* :-*

So today was not too eventful as I think they were all drying out form the storm.

Froona was fed 3 times while I was there an Peter said she was just fed again.
One of the boys went over and ate with here and they touched beaks several times and snuggled up on the ledge. By the way he acted I think it was RED but he would not show me his leg.
Dada came in with food with mom behind and they did a food exchange, with one of the boys cacking behind them all the way

 ;D ;D

Later in the afternoon , dad and  one youngster, flew in circles and around the buildings. Dad would quickly turn sideways and the youngster would touch talons. I guess they are practicing for the food exchange so they do not loose any more whole pigeons.

Froona is so beautiful and I promise we will start taking pictures soon.  It has just been too hectic and I did not want to take pictures and then miss something important.

After I do my hair I will post some Peter took form the other day.
Next week I will start posting like last year and you will be able to follow the kids with us.

Because this watch is new here I felt I should stay all day . but next year, we will have a few key people and then I will be able to get some rest.
Although I am tired, and have a lot of nerve racking moments. I would not trade it for anything.

Seeing each of the boys up close and personal has endeared me to them. they have their unique personalities. I am sad that we never did find out what happened to Mr. White but am concentrating on who we do have.
Mr. Red is a real stinker, and Mr. yellow is a gentleman.

 And Froona, bestill my heart.

Peter will  post his later and I am so glad that other people have posted when I e-mailed them or phoned them.

thanks Carly for posting when we asked you.
WE have a great fun bunch of people in the watch who I think are addicts :) :)

And most important we have created a big public awareness.

I am so happy to hear Froona is doing well.  She seemed to be glued to that nest box! ::) I was just thinking how wonderful nature is and the inbred instincts that our animal and bird friends have to keep their species alive! The way Radisson took off after her yung'n and steered him back to the family "acreage".  Totally in awe ;D

Bev just called.  Froona made it on to the roof of the building.  Mom just flew in with food with the two males chasing and cacking behind her.  However, the food was for Froona.  She has now been fed.

Woohooo...go Froona!!  Great, great news Mr Bev  ;D ;D ;D

That is such great news -- a very welcome update. We all spend so much time worrying about these chicks and the food they are or aren't receiving -- easy to forget that the parents really do know what they're doing!  ;)

Good for Froona, she got out of her white "cage."
Thanks Mr Bev for updating us.
Fly for food, Froona, fly!
