...hey, did anybody else see that?  Either my eyes were playing tricks on my, or the unfluffy one just took off, not 3 minutes ago!...He started flapping in the nest area, then just jumped!!  Was that him, or one of the parents, and he's just hiding under the camera?  I don't think they Utah group was going to start fledge watch until tomorrow...

These 2 are so dedicated to this nest and the chicks I don't remember really seeing this much of both parents at any nest thru the whole thing and they share the work on feeding and watching them, dad is there alot during the day trying to keep them towards the back but the kids won't have any part of it anymore they just kindda fly over or around him to get in the front of the doorway ;D

One of the chicks has hardly any white down left now, and likes to perch on the rock. The other chick is still quite fluffy:

...just watched one of the parents SWOOP in with a food package - (the angle of the camera makes it look like the bird is going to fly straight out of your computer screen...)  One of the chicks still has a lot more fluff left than the other  - is that an age difference thing, or is one just more efficient at de-fluffing than the other?

1 Hatched the 23rd of May the other 24th of May so no big age difference 1 of each is what I'm thinking

...sorry to go on about this site, but there was a LOL moment; after feeding, one of the chicks, thoroughly unsatisfied with the amount of sustenance, actually attacked the parent's talons, convinced that there must be more food there - parent flew away in a BIG hurry... :D

...WOW, these chicks have grown, they almost look like peregrines (instead of fluffballs)...hope we find out how the fledging went once they take the plunge (so to speak, i know they don't plunge, per se)...

It's amazing the difference in size between the 2.... Did the eggs hatch a week apart??  ???
Nope on the 23 then the 24th of May thats why I think 1 boy and 1 girl but they aren't banding them so we might never know

You'll know easily enough when they fledge, the size difference between males/females is exceedingly easy to see.  And if they are the same sex, then it will still be easy to figure them out in relation to their parents ...

i find it odd that they aren't banding them but they are asking people to come out when to make sure the "fledge" is successful. That really surprised me....

Maybe they are going to see if they need rescued and if they do, then do it
Did that make any sense at all I know what I want to say but it doesn't come out right
