New camera angle - kids were checking out Princess on the edge of the ledge so thought I would go wide while she is around ...

So far this morning  ...

pre-dawn - I think there was a meal before the light came up based on the chicks' behaviour
0724h - 1st meal on-camera

Princess with the chicks overnight and up to the 7am meal then Ivy kept the kids company for a couple of hours.  Wind earlier in the morning was quite breezy from the south and Princess was keeping the chicks pretty well covered.  Ivy can't do that now, they are just too big ...


Weather for Thursday ....

Day - Partly cloudy in the morning, then overcast. Fog early. High of 24C. Winds from the SE at 10 to 15 km/h.
Night - Mostly cloudy. Low of 15C. Winds from the SE at 10 to 15 km/h.

Dinner just arrived. I think it's Ivy.

They are so cute at this age - more interesting than eggs . . .yet not active enough to give us heart palpitations as they start doing acrobats up on the ledge of the nest.

These two not-so-little tots need another meal any time now ... they are growing very fast!

0831h - second meal
